TV show description:
This TV series gives a new take on the classic Arthur Conan Doyle characters. It’s a modern-day drama about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD’s most impossible cases.
Following his fall from grace in London and a stint in rehab, eccentric detective Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) escapes to Manhattan where his wealthy father forces him to live with his worst nightmare — a sober companion, Doctor Joan Watson (Lucy Liu). She was a successful surgeon until she lost a patient and her license three years ago.
Watson views her current job as another opportunity to help people, as well as paying a penance. However, the restless Sherlock is nothing like her previous clients. He informs her that none of her expertise as an addiction specialist applies to him and he’s devised his own post-rehab regimen — resuming his work as a police consultant in New York City.
Watson finds she has no choice but to accompany her irascible new charge on his jobs. In the end, Sherlock finds her medical background helpful, and Watson realizes she has a knack for playing investigator.
Sherlock’s police contact is Captain Tobias “Toby” Gregson (Aidan Quinn). He knows, from previously working with Scotland Yard, that Sherlock is brilliant at closing cases, and welcomes him as part of the team.
Episode #154 — The Last Bow
Amidst Holmes and Watson’s battle with tech billionaire Odin Reichenbach, the investigators receive word of their old enemy and Sherlock’s former love, Jamie Moriarty.
First aired: August 15, 2019.
What do you think? Do you like the Elementary TV series on CBS? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for season eight?
One of our favorite shows. We will be hoping that it will not be cancelled. Sherlock Holmes will always be a classic crime story. This is well written with engaging plots and intelligent dialog.
This is without a doubt one of the best shows on television. I generally don’t watch reruns but I look forward to late night Sunday when my local station runs two episodes back to back. I was quite upset when word that it was being cancelled was released, then really happy that it had been renewed. Looking forward to the season premier. Thank you!!
Please renew Elementary, my favorite show. The fans will come back if CBS put it on a weeknight, at 8 or 9, and when it’s not pushed by a football game.
elementary is a show that i myself and many other people look forward each week to watching.please inform us of its status.its a very entertaining program and is worthy of renewal; thankyou
Elementary has always been my number one show since it started. I kept waiting for the beginning of the new season so decided to research it on the internet. PLEEEEEEASE don’t cancel Elementary. It is one of the highlights of my week. Always interesting, great stories, love Johnny and Lucy, not all the gore of so many tv shows now. I had to stop watching a lot of shows because of the graphic and violent content. Thank you for letting me give my opinion.
Great show Johnny Lee and Lucy Lu work well together. Keep it coming, we talk about the plot at work.
Great show, lots of fun, Johnny Lee and Lucy Lu work well together. It is a show we talk about at work. Keep it coming.
Best show on TV PERIOD!!!
I love this show. The unfortunate thing is that it’s been scheduled for Sunday evenings – football andvschefuling are the problem. You never know is you’re going to see it or not. Please Please Do Not Cancel
I’ve tried to watch this show a few times, & frankly dislike it. Actually, it’s Jonny Lee Miller & Lucy Liu that I can’t stand. Just personal feeling. I would have canceled it first season. Wish it and many other shows would be canceled. The 3 major networks can’t seem to come up with decent shows lately. Too many alike.
Please do not cancel this show, BEST SHOW EVER
Please do not cancel this program
