What do you think? Were you a fan of the original Extra Virgin TV series? Do you like the sound of the Extra Virgin Americana TV show? When it the first season premieres on Cooking Channel, do you plan to check it out?
I have been watching the Extra Virgin series and absolutely love it. Not only do I love the show, I love both Deb and Gabrielle. They are down to earth people that when I watch them I feel transported home. I am originally from Brooklyn, born into an Italian American family. They cook like my family and I do and was so exacted to see some of their recipes.
Thank you for coming into my home. I would love to have you for a Holiday (xmas eve) dinner. You would fit right in.
I loved Extra Virgin but only got to see a few of them. The new show is still good but I am partial to the ones in Italy. It’s my heritage and I’m proud of it! Deb and Gabriele are such a cute couple with their adorable daughters so I am still enjoying these new shows, too. I love the way they cook, you know..rustic and fresh. I love when they go to the markets and oh, loved the one where they picked all the olives and made their own olive oil. What shows have you seen that on? None!… Read more »
I love this show and I really hope it’s not cancelled!!! Being Italian myself I so appreciate the simple yet rich and wholesome recipes they make on this show. I also admire the way they live..they are so domesticated and down to earth which is so refreshing to see especially in today’s world. There’s no other show like this, please keep it going!
I enjoy the show as well. I would like to know Who is this Robert??. Are
they related, friends…?
YES…Nene! Who is that guy traveling with them? I thought I was the only one who was questioning him!
Love Robert ❤️
Would have enjoyed the RV in more than one episode. Now they are using an SUV to travel. Lots of RV’S out there and folks might enjoy the food and the RV way of life.
Our family is a huge fan of the original show. We unfortunately didn’t know about it until last year. We especially love series filmed in Italy. Those are the one’s that take us away and play seamlessly with their Italian cuisine. Although I have not yet seen the new show, I am not a fan of those shows on the FoodNetwork and Travel Channel that travel to the same overplayed boring United States locations to see someone throw a salmon, eat BBQ ribs, etc. It is so overdone and boring. It should say something that the original Extra Virgin is… Read more »
o.k., I give up…who is Robert?? He’s with them everywhere but nobody ever says why. I love all of their shows!
Who is Robert??????
Robert is their friend he is a big part of the show with his great dry humor
Robert is Debra’s friend from when she was younger. I think they use to work in the same place and that is how they met. He is so cool on the show.
I loved Extra Virgin and now enjoy new show. I enjoy the simple way of wonderful meals done in a rustic way. A beautiful family that cares for each other and good food. Keep it up, your talents are admired.
Just read about there new show in the Sunday New York Times. So excited just recorded it for future viewing. There the greatest. So glad they have a new show, there perfect together
I love both of your shows. I record both and watch them over and over and look forward to new shows. I love how you treat each other and your family. I love how you share your lives with us in LA, NY and Tuscany. Good luck and God bless.
O
Fabulous new series, can’t wait to see more. Kudos to all involved. Live the whole family.
I loved EV tv series & will love traveling the US with them. Couldn’t wait for this new season to begin. Like seeing new areas of the US. That i would not get to see otherwise. Keep it coming Deb & Gabriele xxoo.
My husband and I both love extra virgin. I hope we get to see more of them in Italy. However, we r really excited about their new series. Good luck, guys!
Why does Food Network/Cooking Channel turn every decent stand and stir show into a travelogue? I am getting tired of host visits city, host gets into kitchen and observes food preparation, host stuff face while talking about how off the hook something is. It’s almost as boring as host has friends coming over, host starts meal, friends come over and help and host feeds guests who are impressed.
Agree… Tired of this format as well.
Iam not tired of any show they do meant to vote down on this comment53
My husband and I love Extra Virgin. We are foodies and enjoy not only the recipes, but the entire family.
