TV show description:
From creators Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard, the Forever TV show is a surreal dark comedy series (not to be confused with the cancelled 2014 drama of the same name, starring Ioan Gruffudd). The story follows June (Rudolph) and Oscar (Armisen), a couple who have been married for 12 years.
Unfolding in suburban Riverside, California, the story kicks off with June and Oscar living a comfortable life, but they’re starting to notice how predictable they’ve become. June persuades Oscar that they need to try new things,. To that end, they decide to take a ski trip, even though neither of them ski.
While they’ve grown accustomed to the same meals, vacations, and even conversations, everything is about to change. This completely unfamiliar territory raises some big questions about love, marriage, and the meaning of forever.
Series Finale:
Episode #8 — Goodbye Forever
June helps Oscar build a boat.
First aired: September 14, 2018.
What do you think? Do you like the Forever TV series? Should this Amazon Prime Video TV show have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Please renew! Or at lease do a kick ass finale, I am totally sucked in and want to know where they end up.
Please renew, am totally enjoying this story.
Loved this series! It’s like nothing else – a good thing.
PLEASE RENEW! Quality like this is hard to find!
Best show I’ve watched in years! Can’t wait for the next season!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show. It is so different from anything out there. PLEASE keep it going! I’ve watched and re-watched season 1 multiple times. Whoever does the casting did a fabulous job. ALL characters are compelling.
Yes, yes, yes!! Keep this show going. I love it!
I love, love, love this show. I’ve been dreaming of creating a show that’s a real departure from legal, medical and cop dramas; a show that’s about human ‘interiors. I love that it sees life as a continuum. It’s very cool. And the cast is great!!!! I also love the slower pace of the dialogue … scripts are really good (not great yet, IMHO, but really, really good.). I think this show will continue to improve, and to build a strong, loyal audience. Oddly enough, I haven’t heard anyone talking about it. If I didn’t have Prime, I’d never even… Read more »

LOVED IT!
Love the show. Please produce more!!
HORRIBLE SHOW! please cancel
I agree with Rysher. It’s a tough show to watch since it’s soooo slow moving and often boring as all get out. What’s strange and somewhat compelling is having great A-list actors as the lead characters, which makes it somewhat tolerable to watch. I’m hoping it’ll improve; the storyline is compelling but move on from how mundane life has become from them. Remember writers, we watch tv to excaoe from our own lives and really want to be entertained. Step it up or I’m through with this series as well.
Daisy: I think the pace reflects what happens in real life. People get ‘stuck.’ It can take time to work things out. Meanwhile, life goes on. I think it’s refreshing to see that in a television series. All due respect to Aaron Sorkin’s stacatto pacing, I’m welcoming this change!
Agreed! Pace seems natural. Not caffeinated or forced. The authenticity of the relationships – whether healthy or unhealthy – is what grabs me. I actually think it’s hilarious at times and very sad and heart-warming at others.
