ABC is still trying to fill that Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot. Many ABC shows have been given that timeslot and they’ve all been cancelled — Killer Women, Body of Proof and Lucky 7, to name just a few. So, how’s the new Forever TV show doing? Will it break the trend or be cancelled as well?
On the Forever TV show, New York City’s star medical examiner is Doctor Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd). He can ascertain things that most can not because of his vast experience — he’s been alive for 200 years but can’t figure out how or why. The rest of the cast includes Alana de la Garza, Lorraine Toussaint, Donnie Keshawarz, Joel David Moore, and Judd Hirsch.
The series got off to an okay start, following the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars on a Monday night. It attracted a 1.7 rating with 8.59 million viewers. The following night, in its permanent timeslot, the demo rose slightly but viewership dropped.

In week two, the ratings tumbled to a 1.4 in the demo with 5.69 million. In week three, they fell even lower and last week’s installment hit new lows with a 1.1 demo rating and 4.81 million viewers.
Just four weeks into the season and this show is already in serious trouble. ABC needs a successful show to fill the Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot and it’s clear that Forever isn’t the answer to their prayers. It’s unlikely that they’ll order any installments beyond their initial 13 episode order.
Will all of the episodes air? I suspect that ABC will release the six remaining episodes — probably before the holidays. The network may find other programming to air in the Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot during at least some of November sweeps however.
Either way, unless there’s a miraculous turnaround in the ratings, Forever is as good as cancelled. It’s yet another TV show about an immortal that will see its life cut short.

It’s a great show and my favourite. But people don’t even know that this show exists. It needs to be discovered.

Pleas, Please keep it going! And I agree let more people know its on, maybe anearlier timeslot would make for better ratings as well, put one of the other rubbish shows that for some reason do well in that slot instead
I TOTALLY agree…I LOVE THIS SHOW…Story line, acting,actors…they ALL work well together and keep you wondering if his secret will stay a secret….PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW.

Love the show, hope it’s not cancelled. Hope Nielson takes into account all the people who watch TV on their IPad . I am one, I can take it to every room of my house and watch it without trying to go through so many channels to find it. I also like to watch it earlier as it’s content is not something you want to go to sleep on. Hulu is what I watch it on.

I love this show and hope that the show will be renewed. There are not many shows that I’m a fan of. It is unfair that the ratings are based on 18-49 . Viewers above that age group should have a voice.

Oh, please, PLEASE renew it ABC!!!!! Seriously, the best show I’ve watched yet – don’t cancel it!!! For me to fall in love with a series within fifteen minutes – that’s pretty good.

Forever needs to keep on keeping on. It is a splendid addition to the prime time array. It seems there is something blooming in the vast wasteland after all. Don’t prematurely uproot this lush growth.

I consider this show to be one of the best on TV right now. If you rating are too low then you need to let people know that it exists! Advertise a bit more! All I can say about this show is that if you watch it once then you are invariably hooked.
