What’s This TV Show About?
A Freeform family drama, The Fosters stars Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, Hayden Byerly, Noah Centineo, David Lambert, Maia Mitchell, and Cierra Ramirez. The story centers on Stef Foster (Polo), a dedicated police officer, and school administrator Lena Adams (Saum). An interracial lesbian couple, Stef and Lena are raising a blended family of foster, biological, and adopted kids, in San Diego.
Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of The Fosters averaged a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 619,000 viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 27% and down by 23%, respectively. Learn how The Fosters stacks up against the other Freeform TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Though the ratings are still positive, I wouldn’t be surprised if this TV series ends with season five, and that nice 100 episode sized syndication package. Remember what happened with Switched at Birth. Although its fourth season received higher ratings than season four of The Fosters, eventually, Freeform announced that family drama would end with season five. The Fosters is a great show. It addresses the trials of same sex couples and the foster care system. I would be really disappointed if the show is cancelled!
GREAT SHOW! My granddaughter told me about it and I became addicted!!!!!! I watched ALL 5 Seasons in a MONTH!!!!!! It is one show that allows adults and their “older” kids to watch TOGETHER! It is GROUND BREAKING!!!!!! A MUST RENEWAL!!!!!!!

The Fosters is the only show that allows kids and adults who struggle with real life issues relate to. I remember watching it because I myself was almost put into the foster system. The Fosters is an amazing show, don’t cancel it please!
As a lesban my self I have found a home in this show. I never really realize the struggles that lesbian and gay couples face in this world, as well as foster children. The Fosters is an amazing show, and it shows so much to the world. A lot of us also face these issues in life and I believe this show helps a lot of us get through things a lot eaiser.

Please do not cancel “The Fosters”! This show is doing so much good and continues to inspire it’s viewers! Our world continues to need the kind of influence “The Fosters” puts forth.
Renew the show! It takes me forever to find good shows and i have really gotten into the fosters. We would be extremely dissapointed if ot cancelled.
I would be super disapointed. I love this show so much. It brings me happiness and feel like its one of the best shows out there. From the first episode to now, it has always kept me interested. I love the family love in it and if this got cancelled, I would be really down. Defintley wouldnt be the same anymore. Please dont get rid of it.

I will be extremely sad and disappointed if The Fosters gets canceled, it is one of mone and my best friends favorite shows that we watch! If it gets canceled I will no longer watch anymore shows or movies of the Freedom channel ever.

it didnt end with satisfaction it endes with alot of what ifs. its pointless to stop it because we want answers on why season five ended like that. the show must go on no matter what. and if im conerned that tells you i love it ans it should not be ignore keep the fosters going atleast a season 6 with a great endning thanks.
