Will any residents escape in the first season of the From TV show on EPIX? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like From is cancelled or renewed for season two. EPIX, however, isn’t part of the ratings system. If you’ve been watching this TV series, we’d love to know how you feel about the first season episodes of From here. *Status update below.
An EPIX sci-fi horror series, the From TV show stars Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Shaun Majumder, Corteon Moore, Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Elizabeth Moy, and Avery Konrad. The story revolves around a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest which included terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. Sheriff Boyd Stevens (Perrineau) has instituted strong rules in the town to maintain order and to keep residents safe. Jim and Tabitha Matthews (Bailey and Moreno) find themselves trapped in the town after a car crash. Together, they must find a way to keep their children — Julie (Cheramy) and Ethan (Webster) — safe as they desperately search for a way back home.

4/24/22 update: From has been renewed for a second season on EPIX.
I’ve clearly got the same opinion as anyone whom watches from that it’s a #1 quality series in every aspect. It’s rich in character the writers are great, the Erie plot and story line has a life of its own and it keeps you begging for more, like now, we want more. If epic can’t afford to carry the weight of this the find someone who will then I don’t see the point of needing to watch anything on there again
We love season 1 and we’re hopeful for season 2 won’t be to far off

I enjoyed all of the episodes! I kept wanting more and more, the acting could be better but, I think overall it is trying to tell story and you have to be patient and let it develop!!! I love it!!’ Me and my daughter started watching it and from the very first episode we were hooked I have not been so in tuned with a show in a long time! Loved all 10 episodes of season one !…hope season two starts very soon…i will be glued to the tv.
I do not watch horror flicks because it is just not my thing. However, this TV show was intense for me. This series so far has kept me intrigued to see the next episode to see what happens and who survives. I think there should be another season and hope there is one.
