Seth Rogen’s future is so bright, he’s gotta wear shades. Deadline reports his Future Man TV show pilot has been ordered to series at Hulu. The 13-episode first season from Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Matt Tolmach hails from Sony Pictures Television. Future Man is written by executive producers Ariel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter, from their story with Howard Overman.
Josh Hutcherson stars as Josh Futterman, “an uninspired and dejected janitor by day/gamer by night who becomes earth’s unlikely hero when he is recruited by mysterious visitors to travel through time in order to prevent the extinction of humanity.” The cast also includes Eliza Coupe, Derek Wilson, Ed Begley Jr., and Glenne Headly. Rogen and Goldberg directed the pilot.
