The game is over. Deadline reports NBC has cancelled their new drama Game of Silence during its first season.
The series revolves around five childhood friends who have kept a dark secret for 25 years. The cast includes David Lyons, Michael Raymond-James, Larenz Tate, Bre Blair, Claire van der Boom, Deidrie Henry, Conor O’Farrell, and Demetrius Grosse.
Only six episodes into its run, Game of Silence has received steady-but-low ratings, earning an average of .81 in the 18-49 demo and 3.898 million viewers.
NBC has also cancelled the freshman medical drama Heartbeat and the Eva Longoria comedy Telenovela.

Just like NBC to cancel good shows. I’m so disappointed that this show is cancelled. If you insist on not bringing it back because “Everyone likes Reality Shows” Sarcasm intended. Give Game of Silence a decent ending.
Game of Silence is an amazing show with a great story line that can be taken in so many different directions. Everyone I know watches it and loves it, It is my favorite show yet! I really hope someone else pics it up but they should renew it if they were smart!!!

Fantastic show. Great cast and plot. Had the right amount of suspense. Why is it that only the 18-49 group were polled? There are adults over 49 remember. Maybe you could do better polling and we would lose less shows.
