The game is over. Deadline reports NBC has cancelled their new drama Game of Silence during its first season.
The series revolves around five childhood friends who have kept a dark secret for 25 years. The cast includes David Lyons, Michael Raymond-James, Larenz Tate, Bre Blair, Claire van der Boom, Deidrie Henry, Conor O’Farrell, and Demetrius Grosse.
Only six episodes into its run, Game of Silence has received steady-but-low ratings, earning an average of .81 in the 18-49 demo and 3.898 million viewers.
NBC has also cancelled the freshman medical drama Heartbeat and the Eva Longoria comedy Telenovela.

IT’S EXPOSING OUR CORRUPT POLITICIANS FOR WHAT MOST OF THEM ARE AND THE SECRETS THEY KEEP AND CAN STILL RUN FOR OFFICE AND GET AWAY WITH IT. SHOW THERE CAN B JUSTICE FOR THE GOOD GUYS! KEEP THIS SHOW ON!
I Love this show. Please don’t cancel it. I was looking forward to the fall. Cancel the stupid Maya Rudolph and Martin Lawrence show instead.
game of silence is one of my few regular shows. i only watch live sports on tv, now that most new shows suck!!! keep taking off the good shows and you will lose a 50 year veteran of good tv shows!!!

Game of Silence is a good show. The season finale was amazing! My daughter and I think it should be renewed. We will definitely watch it. Tell me does recording it to watch later count towards the ratings score or does it need to watched live to capture that number? We love the show, please bring it back!!!

Why? This was an amazing story line, new actors-to me! Totally nail-biting, intense drama! I am so disappointed in NBC. Getting to the point I prefer ABC!
