Once again, ABC didn’t announce if General Hospital had been renewed for another year but we know the show wasn’t cancelled either. The network just kept it on the air. Will General Hospital survive to see a 59th season for the 2021-22 broadcast season? Could it possibly be cancelled mid-year? How will it do in the ratings? Stay tuned.
Debuting in 1963 on April 1st, General Hospital revolves around the loves, lives, and deaths of the people of Port Charles, New York. The current season’s cast includes Maurice Benard, Steve Burton, Marcus Coloma, William deVry, Chad Duell, Michael Easton, Genie Francis, Nancy Lee Grahn, Briana Henry, Rebecca Herbst, Roger Howarth, Finola Hughes, William Lipton, Katelyn MacMullen, Sofia Mattsson, Eden McCoy, Sydney Mikayla, Kelly Monaco, Ingo Rademacher, Wes Ramsey, Emme Rylan, Kirsten Storms, Josh Swickard, Donnell Turner, Cynthia Watros, Maura West, and Laura Wright.

Please keep General Hospital on! Have been watching for 53 years with my mom. She passed away over 30 years ago so I now watch for both of us. I watch it everyday sometimes on Hulu
Please don’t cancel GH! I have been watching for 47 years. I look forward to watching every single day, and it’s the only thing that has kept me halfway sane through this pandemic. Because I have watched so long these characters are like family! Please don’t cancel General Hospital.

Man you can’t stop showing General Hospital I watch this show Religiously every morning I began watching the show 25 years ago with my Great Granny and she was my best friend and since she is now gone watching General Hospital keeps my heart close to her and I often imagine that she is near watching it with me please continue we need 50 more years

Please do not cancel General Hospital. I love the story lines and the characters. It’s the only Soap that I watch and enjoy. We all need an escape and GH is mine.

Please Do Not Cancel General Hospital. It has a phenomenal cast and story lines. Also I don’t mean to sound ignorant but can’t they interrupt regular programming at a different time or in the evening when people are home. Those that are working from home and doing virtual school do not have their tv on to even see the report. I personally think they should have a separate channel for political and health special reports. Then if you want to watch it you can and our regular programming of General Hospital can stop being interrupted.

Do not cancel this show. And what about the demographics of 49-80.? I know there’s a huge following in that catagory. I’ve been watiching this since my daughter was born in 1965.
Love General Hospital, hate having it interrupted without notice for political stuff and then only once in a while letting us know that it will be shown later that night after midnight. You are lucky if you hear that announcement. It should be up on the menu so you can see the exact time. Tired of trying to figure out what I missed. Gov. Pritzker likes to use that time slot to talk about the Covid too.
Maybe if they wouldn’t keep interrupting GH with government stuff and just keep it for the news. Leave GH alone love it!
