Goliath fans are wondering if they will see a fourth season of the series, which stars Billy Bob Thornton as Billy McBride. The end of season three saw his character in a bad spot, and some might think there is no way for the show continue with that ending.

Season three ended with Thornton’s character shot and left for dead. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said the event was both a ‘death and a birth’ for his character. Amy Brenneman, Dennis Quaid, and Beau Bridges were all new additions for season three.
As for the future of the Prime Video series, Thornton said the following about the potential future of Goliath:
“If they’re inclined to do another season, I think I would be inclined to. I think they would be because it’s been a successful show for them. So if we can figure out a way to get me back out there, it could happen.”

They don’t have to end it with that. I just assumed somebody was going to come along and find him just in time.
In fact, I feel like there are too many ties between the two stories they need to elaborate on – or maybe I didn’t pay close enough attention.

Yes yes yes, please do season 4, 5, 6, AND seven…! Anything more than that would be an extra bonus! Love love love Billy McBride! And all the other characters have such great personalities and are very interesting. It’s a great show and it would be a shame not to continue it for the fans. I’m certain that hundreds of thousands of people who watch the show feel the same way.

Mr. McBride is a champion to all those who have ever been hosed by corrupt people in power. He is both a victim and a hero that people relate to. There is no end to storylines that could be done featuring Billy doing his thing and beating the odds. A fourth season is a must.
