New York [July 25, 2017] HGTV has picked up a third season of its popular home renovation and flipping series, Good Bones. The series stars the dynamic mother/daughter duo Karen E Laine and Mina Starsiak as they buy homes in serious disrepair and transform them into stunning remodels. Currently airing on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, Good Bones has attracted more than 11.8 million viewers since its premiere on Tuesday, May 30. The series’ strong performance has helped HGTV rank as a top three cable network among upscale W25-54 in the Tuesday 10-11 p.m. ET/PT timeslot. The new 13-episode season is scheduled to premiere in 2018.
“Mina and Karen’s incredible home renovation skills, as well as their expanding popularity with the HGTV audience, are just two of the many reasons to keep this hit going for another season,” said John Feld, senior vice president of original programming and production for HGTV, DIY Network and GAC. “Nothing says success like a good mid-season renewal.”
What do you think? Have you seen Good Bones? Are you glad it’s been renewed?
This is my favorite hgtv program. Would like more construction and possible design choices and far less destruction methods.
So happy good bones will be back! Love the mother daughter interaction. They seem genuinely happy and their smiles and laughter brighten my day! Agree more construction details would be helpful and show just how complicated rehabs can be.
I can not wait until the ladies are back. I love them
Hope the news still holds and we see another season of Good Bones. Love the show!
So happy to read that their program has been renewed. It is one of the GREATEST programs on TV
I really like this show and Karen’s laugh is infectious. When she hears houses talking to her or feeling their energy I have to roll my eyes but this mother and daughter duo truly care about their city and neighborhood. They want to be a part of beautifying it. I like their quirky style sometimes and they are contently surprising me. I LOVE that they are not afraid of color. So glad they are back with their crazy construction crew.
