Will Yun Lee is coming to ABC. Entertainment Weekly reports the Hawaii Five-0 star will guest on The Good Doctor.
The medical drama stars Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, a new surgical resident with autism and savant syndrome whose ncredible memory and keen ability to perceive spatial relations inform Shaun’s gifted comprehension of his patients. The cast also includes Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chuku Modu, Beau Garrett, Hill Harper, Tamlyn Tomita, and Richard Schiff.
On The Good Doctor, Lee will be playing an “ex-cop named Alex Park who has decided to become a doctor. Alex’s former profession comes in handy as he demonstrates to the other residents that he has a keen ability to read people.”
Lee’s first appearance on The Good Doctor will debut in February. The star’s former Hawaii Five-0 co-star, Daniel Dae Kim, executive produces the CBS series.
What do you think? Do you watch The Good Doctor? Would you watch a second season?
My husband and I watch this show and absolutely love it. Freddie Highmore is brilliant! It’s a keeper!
Love the show–will watch for a second season for sure!
Yes Yes Yes – I’m not one for Medical shows, but I LOVE THIS ONE. Freddie is awesome and I’ve always loved Nicholas Gonzalez. This show has extremely interesting story lines. Keep up the good work!!!
Love the show and want it to continue! I will watch the second season for sure.
They tried really hard to get the feel of The Good Doctor the same as the original Korean drama and succeed most of the time ..the acting is just as good and a lot of the characters very alike, that’s why it works IMO they took the best of the Korean show added a few things for the American TV audience and ended up with an equally terrific series.. I do miss some things from “Good Doctor”.. romance in Korean dramas is done so much better than British or US television but it is what it is,it doesn’t effect my enjoyment… Read more »
Good critique. How did you get to see the original Korean drama?
Please don’t cancel this show it’s brilliant and can’t wait for next series
I just love this show–for once, something with compassion, intelligence, gentleness, decent people and plots. I get very tired of the rock ’em sock ‘m wild shows or silly comedies. Love Freddie Highmore–he’s surely going places! Please please don’t cancel this show!!!!!!!
Yes I want to watch a second season! My Autistic son and I watch this series every Monday without fail.
Love this show. Couldn’t imagine Freddie Highmore going from the creepy Norman Bates to autistic but he has nailed it from the beginning. This shows how far those who are “different” can go if given the support required. Because this character literally has patients lives in his hand in a litigious profession it will always require conversations about Shaun.
Definitely need more seasons..many, many seasons..one of the best shows on network TV in a long time…
I love “The Good Doctor” and I am all for a Season 2-3-4-5-6-7, etc. This is one show I never get tired of. I just love Freddie Highmore. Loved him in Bates Motel and love him as much in The Good Doctor. Please don’t cancel one of the best shows on TV. Seems like when a great show comes on, it gets canceled to bring in a lousy replacement. Thanks
I too love this show & want it to continue.
My husband and I are ardent fans of “The Good Doctor” and look forward to each weekly episode. There are very few American shows that we watch, preferring British television. This one is a keeper!
I absolutely love this show. It’s the one network show that I NEVER miss.
My husband and I love “The Good Doctor” especially because we have a son who has autism, and we believe it teaches valuable lessons about life and how people can be towards one another, to stand up for yourself and believe in yourself. Follow your dreams, all things are possible. I would definitely watch a second season. Thank You
I wanted to like this show. Really. But when writers, directors insist on wasting 15 minutes each week with characters constantly and predictably arguing about Shaun this, Shaun that, it got old really really fast.
