Grimm aired its 100th episode on NBC last week, and it has been a fight for the series to make it that far, according to David Giuntoli. He spoke about the series in an interview with The Los Angeles Times this week, and he made one shocking revelation.
Season six could be the last season for this series. NBC has not yet renewed the series though, so it could very well end with the fifth season. Fans will need to wait for news on the fate of the series.
The series’ 100th episode did answer a big question. Nick and Monroe found the treasure that was hinted at during the start of the series. They managed to uncover it on the last episode, and it had great power. It healed Monroe from an infected bite.
Giuntoli said the following about the future of the series:
“It’s very rare that an actor gets so many opportunities between “action” and “cut.” Most of your time as an actor is spent trying to get to that point, not living within those two points, and when you’re on a long-running series, you have so much time in between those two moments to actually yell “cut.” So, I’m ever grateful for all of the opportunities I get to kind of change it up — fix things, better things, tweak things. If we get a Season 6, it could very well be our last season, and it will be the first time that the writers would get to write to an ending. If we do, it’ll be a very fun ride, with major events.”
The series has been a Friday night staple for several seasons, but the ratings have seen a dip this season. Do you want a sixth season of this series? Tell us what you think.
Please don’t cancel. If you can do another season and have a finale ending!!!
Please don’t cancel Grimm this is the best season yet! You guys have to extend the season.
Noooooo. I love Grimm, its the best show on tv. Ive been watching from the first episode. Its so clever and fresh. Love the cast , the writing , just everything is great.
Liked it in the beginning, not so much now. Don’t like the storyline.
Grimm is a wonderful show please renew it NBC
Yes. Please NBC don’t cancel Grimm!
Grimm is still as exciting as it has been from the start. When I first watched the show I thought it wouldn’t last a season but it quickly peaked my interest and has kept me a fan. It is comforting to have a show that can help you escape the stress, and problems of the world. We continue to look forward to Grimm on Friday nights. Please renew the series.Give your loyal the respect and courtesy they deserve. Lew
Nnnoooo! Tell us where to send letters or emails!!!
Nbc.com contact us tell them not to cancel
Pleased don’t cancel Grimm. It is a superb show that has a great diversity in the cast and the premise of the show is really quite brilliant. This show not only has a wide national fan base but an International one too. The ratings system today is really archaic. With the invention of the DVR and other means, many people record the show to view at their leisure therefore skewing the ratings of each episode. Plus, moving the show to a Friday is a sure fire way of losing viewers, unless that is the intention of NBC?!
So true. As if they even can count those of us who stream only.
I absolutely enjoy watching Grimm. It makes my Friday evenings much more enjoyable, especially when David Giuntoli is featured. The story line is so different than all the shows on TV now, and it would be a shame to cancel it with all the fans it has picked up over the years. Keep it on, NBC.
Very much want more Grimm. Been watching from the beginning and still re-watch the previous seasons. The best show NBC has. If they do cancel it, I hope someone else picks it up.
I love this show and have been a faithful viewer since the beginning! I think the day it is on is what is killing it, if it was on a different day during the week I think there would be more followers. I would hate to see it end, but know all good things must come to an end!
Grimm is the only NBC series my wife and I watch religiously. It is so much different, and better, than the run of the mill dramas and comedies populating the rest of their lineup.
Don’t cancel “Grimm”!!!!! Every time NBC puts a great show on, they always wind up cancelling it!!!!! KEEP “GRIMM” ON THE AIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is one of the two shows my family likes.WE need to just go to Tuesday ,wed.or Thursday. WHEN THERE IS NOTHING TO WATCH!
