We’ve received a few emails from readers asking if Harry’s Law has been cancelled. After all, the last original episode of the Kathy Bates series aired on January 18th.
The legal drama has certainly been struggling in the ratings and is one of the lowest-rated shows on the network this season. But, while it’s hard to imagine that Harry’s Law will be renewed for a third season, the series hasn’t been cancelled just yet. It does have a lot of viewers, just not in the desired demographic unfortunately.
Harry’s Law is on hiatus and won’t return until March 11th, once the February sweeps period has finished. NBC ordered 22 episodes for the current season so there are 10 installments left to air.
Since it’s likely that the show won’t be back, hopefully the cast and crew won’t leave viewers with a cliffhanger in the last episode.
What do you think? Are you still watching Harry’s Law? Do you miss it when it’s not on?

I love this show and hope that it won’t be cancelled
It is a great show – always has at least one case that delves into an issue in the daily news. It is not stupid like so much of the junk on network TV. Leave us network viewers one of the quality shows – Sunday night is fine – just leave it on.
I like the fact that there are some shows like Harry’s Law where I do not have to worry about being insulted with filthy talk or vulgarities, like the Super Bowl halftime show, for example.
One of the best shows on television, it goes to show you that the network people still do not understand that we are sick of the stupid cheap reality shows – if we want reality – look around the everyday life of people and who wants to see it? NOT ME!!! give me good programing anytime, with good drama or comedy – Harrys Law is one of the best David E Kelly shows to watch – He always has a good show- maybe NBC should find a good time slot for it!!!!!Better than the Brian Williams -the rock -who wants… Read more »
Get rid of about 100 reality shows and you may have room for shows that are actually worth something…Harry’s Law is the most intelligent show on TV
This is one of the few shows that i look forward to. I do hope that it returns.
I love Harry’s Law and don’t want to it cancelled.
I LOVE Harry’s Law. It’s hilarious, poignant, always teaches a great moral lesson, very smart and well-written and acted. So sorry to hear it’s leaving. The networks sabotage their own shows by switching around the schedule. By the time people find their favorite shows again, they’re doomed by low viewership.
Tragic!
Love the show. It is the only I watch regularly other than The Good Wife. The problem with ratings is that if the time slots keep moving as with Harry’s Law, it is hard to figure out when the show is on. I will miss the show.
Please no not cancel Harry’s Law. It is a great show with a terrific cast and I look forward to it each week. Some of the shows that you have on NBC are terrible and I do not tune in – that includes 30 Rock much as I like Brian Williams.
Why is it that a truly excellent program is cancelled, one with intelligent, thoughtful and timely story lines and great writing, an excellent cast and production team, and we are left with sitcoms and series that are questionable in content, targeted only to a young audience, sometimes bordering on illiterate. Please don’t cancel Harry’s Law. Find a better spot for it and allow those of us who appreciate quality television a program we can enjoy.
I love this show and look forward to it every week. It has everything smart writing and a great cast. I think the main problem is it’s time slot…it has tough competion on another channel. PLEASE GIVE IT A SECOND CHANCE. Thanks
MY HUSBAND AND I LOOK FORWARD TO THE SHOW EVERY WEEK. IT’S BOTH FUNNY, HEARTWARMING AND SUSPENSE PACKED. THEY ALWAYS COME UP WITH A NEW TWIST TO TRY AND SOLVE THEIR CASE. ALSO HAVE SEEM A FEW TEARS SHED BY THE CAST, ITS HEARTWARMING. I HAVE SHED A FEW MYSELF WITH THEM. WE NEED MORE PROGRAMS LIKE THIS AND LESS WITH BLOOD AND KILLING. LET’S BRING IT BACK.
I absolutely love this show. I love the cast. And I hope it doesn’t end. I haven’t enjoyed a show this much since Law and Order SVU! Except for this show makes me laugh, makes me cry and makes me want to clap after her closing arguments.
I love this show – I look forward to seeing Kathy Bates – The networks seem to think what most viewers want are reality or talk shows – Some people just want to be entertained – Speaking of Law & Order Criminal Intent – I watch it everyday on the cable chanels and believe me I have seen every episode – I’d rather watch re-runs then all those stupid talk shows that are on all day long on every chanel
