The ratings for Hart of Dixie fell quite a bit last season but The CW renewed the show for a fourth season anyway — albeit for a short one. There’s been talk that this will be the final season but the network says a decision hasn’t been made yet. Will Hart of Dixie be renewed for a fifth season or will it be cancelled instead? Hart of Dixie follows a doctor (Rachel Bilson) from New York becomes a general practitioner in a small town in Alabama. The rest of the cast includes Scott Porter, Jaime King, Wilson Bethel, Tim Matheson, and Cress Williams.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. Renew very heart warming show
I sincerely hope the network decides to renew Hart of Dixie for the fifth season. I found it on Netflix and have been watching it nonstop. It’s so enjoyable to watch a wonderfully cast show that is funny, entertaining and heartfelt. What will we do without Wade and Zoe? Come on CW, show you have the right stuff and do the right thing! Renew Hart of Dixie!!!

Please renew Hart of Dixie for a fifth season !! There isn’t one show on TV now that is light hearted , morally sound , with amazing sets , and soooooo many likeable characters. I am a 40 something year old who loves Hart of Dixie and have 2 daughters a 20 year old and a teenager and all three of us LOVE Hart of Dixie. I do agree with what some of the others are saying. Why do we have to lose all the great feel good shows. The down home , loving, 100% family show. It would be a mistake to give up on this series . And more so a disappointment. Plus I wanna see how wade deals with his little ALabama boy. Come on season 5.!!!!!
This is the best show. I think the networks don’t realize how important it is to have shows like these…brings viewers to their networks. The show is so awesome. Like Wings, Falicity ( which we used to call complexity) and 30 something, sisters,etc. the quirker the better! Not like the crap on otherwise.
I want another season!!!! I love this show and love that I can watch it on Hulu. We don’t have cable! But love this show and its hard to come by decent family shows.
it is really sad that all of the good family shows are getting replaced with rape and murder shows I wish the there was a network that would just keep on giving us good shows like Hart of Dixie
I think it is very sad that we wont get a fifth season of this amazing show. It is my absolute favourite and a true “feel-good-show”. It will be hard to find a replacement 🙁
Please renew Hart of Dixie for the 5th season! My husband and I both love watching the show. It’s refreshing, funny, and very entertaining. We have watched the show since the beginning and look forward to a new season each time and we are sad when the season ends. Please please please renew it for the 5th season.
There are so few decent, sweet, and funny shows on TV. No explosions. No nudity. Just wholesome family entertainment with clever writing and great actors. I hope CW realizes how much TV needs Hart of Dixie. We need Hart of Dixie!!!
