Hawaii Five-0 is getting ready to end its run on CBS next month, and Katrina Law offered some teasers for the special double episode finale in an interview with TV Insider. The actress promised closure for the fans, and the finale will feature at least three returning characters including Steve’s dad and Wo Fat, who are played by William Sadler and Mark Dacascos.
Law revealed the following about the finale of the CBS series:
“The series finale is just action-packed and I’m pretty sure the audience, they’re going to have heart palpitations and then they’re going to cry hysterically. They’re going to cry for many reasons. I think one of my favorite parts about the finale without giving away spoilers is that Peter Lenkov and the writing team really trusted in the actors to take on their own goodbyes. When we did our final scene, there were just tears all around and just a lot of gratefulness so I hope the audience really picks up on that and feels it.”
As for the fans finding closure, Law promised it will happen. Long time viewers of Hawaii Five-0 might even see something they have been waiting for. Law teased the following:
“For the Five-0 fans, there’s never going to be closure because they’re going to want this show to continue on. That being said, I think it’s a beautiful finale and you see people finding closure in their own way. But there is an entire group of fans who have been desperately wanting something for years now, and it’s been breaking my heart to watch them on Twitter and Instagram, and I’m so excited for them, because I think their wish is going to come true and I can’t wait to see their reactions.”
The Hawaii Five-0 finale will air on April 3.
What do you think? Are you sad to see this series long running series end?
I watched Hawaii Five-O back in the old days and I was so happy to see it come back. If it is time for final closure——-so be it I have enjoyed the action both times. I am 78 yrs old and my Dad was in the FBI when I was growing up so I love all the shows CBS offers me to enjoy.Good luck to all involved
I have watched this programme since it began, there will be a huge hole left in my tv viewing when it finishes. My only comfort is that it is necessary for Alex to get well again. God Bless everyone involved with H50 and Good Luck for your futures.
I am so upset Hawaii 5-0 is ending. It was my favorite show on Friday nights. It will be missed!
Off course fryday is not big in programs will miss Hawaii five 0 new programs coming they are not great
Devastated over the show closing. Nothing else to say.
I love this show especially the bantering between the two hunks . Will really miss my Friday night visit with Hawaii 5
It’s been a great show and I wish it would stay on for many years to come. I wish the best for every actor that had a part for making it so great to watch every week.
Yes sooo sad…loved that show!!
See Evie’s comment below. I could not have said it any better, and I agree completely. I also do not fit into their age group, as I’m in my 70’s. I do hope they change their minds.
I loved the original Hawaii 5-0 and I love the remake. I’m sorry to see it go but CBS has canx a lot of shows I watched and hated to see them go. I think after losing the 2 original actors, they were replaced with 2 very qualified new ones. Fridays line up on CBS is great with 3 great shows. I don’t even have to switch channels. I read where Steve’s actor was pretty banged up from the show. So time for him to do some comedy. I wish them all well, they will be missed.
yes sad love show after lost the 2 stars it was going down
I am sad that Hawaii Five-O is ending. I don’t accept substitutes and will NOT watch whatever fills that time slot!!!
I look forward to watching Hawaii five-o every week. I am so sad to see it end.
I am VERY sad to see this wonderfully written show with a group of fantastically talented actors and actresses who have a real sense of caring for each other to be cancelled by CBS. I have watched this show—every episode of every season. I truely believe this is the WORST decision this network has made. I know my vote never counted because I no longer fit in their demographic age span of 18-49, but CBS is wrong on cancelling. To the writers, crew and the actors/actresses my VERY BEST WISHES to you all and I HOPE to see you all… Read more »
It’s sad that we won’t have anymore Hawaii Five_O. I’ve seen all of the episodes from the beginning. In fact, I’ve saw all of the Original episodes with Jack Lord and his group. I’m going to miss it. Unless CBS decides to continue with the series. Thank you for a good run.
