The Hooten & The Lady TV show has been cancelled after one season on The CW in the US and Sky 1 in UK. The Wrap reports CW president Mark Pedowitz said, “We are pleased with the total viewing audience. We wish the 18-49 ratings were better.” Pedowitz also told reporters, “We were informed by the British yesterday that they were not planning to go forward with a season two.” The show is a Sky series, so it seems its fate is sealed.
A British action-adventure series, Hooten & The Lady follows American treasure hunter Ulysses Hooten (Michael Landes) and his British counterpart, Lady Alexandra Lindo-Parker (Ophelia Lovibond). The CW cast also includes Jessica Hynes, Shaun Parkes, Jane Seymour, Jonathan Bailey, and Joanna Scanlan.

you are developing a bad habit of canceling the wrong shows and i believe the 18-49 age group does not spend or have the power other groups have. there has to be something else except all those stupid reality shows. i have really enjoyed this show and think with better promotion you could have a show compared with Bones sorry you didn’t support this.

This show was awesome! I’m extremely disappointed and shocked to find out there won’t be a season two. I feel like they didn’t promote the show well enough. I remember seeing the commercials for it and they made the show look kinda dumb. But after actually watching one episode I fell in love with the show! CW needs to just take over the show if sky1 won’t go foward!
I agree! The 18-49 bracket aren’t the end all! I loved this show. They left too much unfinished by cancelling it at this point!!!
Please reconsider this for a second season. I am thoroughly enjoying this show! So is my 13 year old!
I really enjoy this show. I think it’s excellent & unique. It’s refreshing among today’s usual shows which tend to be supernatural. This show is all about adventure with comedy. I am extremely disappointed that this show was cancelled. I’m starting to think that the fate of all tv shows, (being renewed or canceled) should be controlled by the audience. How do we put that in effect?
A show that our family could watch together. A mix between Indiana Jones and Moonlighting. It was clever and entertaining. A real shame they cancel this and keep shows like “Big Brother”.

Really it sucks that they cancel this show I thinks it really good. They have too many shows on TV that are reality shows which I hate and DONOT watch.
So please let not cancel this
It seems like a mistake to drop this show so quickly. It’s well put together and looks like it would build a following if given a chance. I think it has suffered from poor advertising more than anything. Give it a reprive and put a little effort into telling people about it, it has everthing needed to be popular if given a little help. Put some work into it.
Hooten and the lady should’ve been given a second season. sorry and disappointing to see a yet another rare gem not given a chance to shine.
I really liked the show. Please renew it. Nice to have a show we all can watch.

I figured once this aired on the CW it’s fate was sealed. There isn’t a character on “Hooten & The Lady” under 30 years of age. Can’t have that on the CW!
Just caught this show for the first time last night and thoroughly enjoyed it! We only watch 2 shows on network tv and will add this one. What a great change of quality from other network shows!
That is a great show. Very sad the CW and Sky 1 didn’t advertise for it. I have been a big fan of the CW and watch 90% of all its shows for years and only when I was looking for something on demand to fill in while waiting for the new seasons to begin. I found this series and fell in love. It’s history, adventure and excitement all in one, and again never saw you advertise for it maybe if you had you would have followers.
