The Hooten & The Lady TV show has been cancelled after one season on The CW in the US and Sky 1 in UK. The Wrap reports CW president Mark Pedowitz said, “We are pleased with the total viewing audience. We wish the 18-49 ratings were better.” Pedowitz also told reporters, “We were informed by the British yesterday that they were not planning to go forward with a season two.” The show is a Sky series, so it seems its fate is sealed.
A British action-adventure series, Hooten & The Lady follows American treasure hunter Ulysses Hooten (Michael Landes) and his British counterpart, Lady Alexandra Lindo-Parker (Ophelia Lovibond). The CW cast also includes Jessica Hynes, Shaun Parkes, Jane Seymour, Jonathan Bailey, and Joanna Scanlan.

We love Hooten & The Lady and are very sad to find out It has been cancelled! It’s charming, romantic and full of adventure. We love visiting the exotic places around the world and It’s a FAMILY FRIENDLY show, unlike most of the programming today. Please change your minds!!

A small screen Indy, it was fun escapism. Not surprised it was cancelled – anything new or different is short-lived. Examples: Downward Dog, Pure Genius, No Tomorrow . . .
Here is a show that has (had) a lot going for it, and now you’ve decided to give it the ax. Unbelievable. Short sighted. Down right stupid. I never saw any promotion for this show. We just happened onto it one evening. Since then, my wife and I looked forward to watching it every week. It has nothing objectionable, it’s funny. it’s action packed. Promote it a bit. Let it gain a viewer base. We’ll be here.
I am very sorry this fun show will not be coming back. It was a great escape from all the ever worsening world events

Iam a big fan of super hero shows but there are way to many this show was a good change of pace bring it back .

I really can’t believe, this wonderful show is cancelled. I agree with all. Cancel the flash and stop airing all this nonesense that is on tv these days. A great break from continuous darkness. Funny, thoughtful, pure entertainment. This show has everything that makes a great show. What are you thinking.
I am angry Hooten and The Lady is being cancelled. I like the show, it has adventure. treasure-hunting, legends and two main characters that are actually talented.
Loved the show. One of the few we looked forward to watching. shame that no one saw it in time to save it.
Usually the CW replays shows @ least one extra time, they didn’t with hooten and the lady, throughout the week
Well that bites that Hooten & The Lady is being cancelled. I really like this show. It’s funny has action an it’s not a cop show. It’s nice to have something interesting on tv. I’m totally bummed
I came across this in the past month and really enjoyed it and looked forward to watching it each week. I just started letting people know about the show and now you have cancelled it. WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would get rid of supergirl or flash as they are both so boring before cancelling this show.
I want a season 2! Had to watch season to on a German bluray release… Im Dutch. Its such a fun series with good production value and a cast that works. Too much darkness on tv nowadays… make season II real. #hootenladygo or something like that….

I sent an email pointing out there was basically no promotion at all for the show. Plus a lot of people don’t watch too much TV in the summer, it might do better in the winter.
