Netflix has ordered a third season of their original political drama, House of Cards. The show has become a signature series for the video provider and garnered an impressive number of Emmy nominations last year.
There’s no word yet on how many episodes have been ordered or when we’ll see them. Season two, comprised of 13 installments, will be released on Valentine’s Day next week.
Last year, co-executive producer Rick Cleveland said that he didn’t expect there to be a third season but Netflix’s Ted Sarandos later said that they wanted more and didn’t plan on running just two seasons.

Lots of Great Series on TV. TheSoprano,s, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Damages and many more. On the other hand there are also far too many Series about the White House. However, “House of Cards” is the exception. It is one of the best Series of all time, maybe The Best. Spacey is fantastic, as usual, I haven’t seen Robin Wright before but She is fantastic and Gerald McRaney is awesome. The whole Cast are great Actors. a months ago didn’t they said that the second would be the finale season because Kevin Spacey and others wanted to do more more movies projects?
Great Show!!!! Keep them coming. Can’t wait to get Season 2 and Season 22 as well. Oh yes, anxious for the “tweeners” for catch-up, too. It’s a great show with great actors (male and female) This is “reality” TV at its finest!!!
