Is Ice Road Truckers returning for new episodes? According to the show’s official Facebook page, the future of the History TV series is still up in the air.
The long-running docuseries follows the drivers who operate large trucks on frozen rivers and roads in the icy terrains of Alaska and Canada.
Season 10 of the series, which premiered earlier this year, was thought to be the last. However, the show’s Facebook account says they are not sure yet if there will be another season. TVSeriesFinale reached out to History for a comment, but the network has not yet responded.

I would love to see another season of IRT. I have watched the show religiously from day one. My wife and I were shocked when we heard of Darrel’s death. Each year new challenges and obstacles

I love Ice road. I sure hope it returns. I was shocked at Darryl’s death. But the show must go on. I believe he would want it to go on. At least a finish of some kind.

I love the show. It will be different without Darrell, but the road challenges will be the same. And other strong characters are left. I think it could be done well. With ‘global warming’, the whole thing may end on its own due to no more roads possible. RIP Darrell.

Any update? past seasons aired in June/ July. Still no update from History Channel. I get that 10 is a nice round number to end on, but the drivers themselves sounded like there was another season in the works this past winter. Why shot footage and not air it? Hope it really does come back.
Please bring back Ice Road Truckers, because it is a GREAT show and I’m sure Darryl would want the show to go on because he and Lisa started a business together and I’m sure the fans would like to see her response to his death and if she continues the business.
This has been one of my favorite shows. We were all devastated when Darrell Ward died but even Darrell would want the show to continue. His death was not during the taping of this series. When you have been a truckers companion for years, these stories hit home.
