Cristella has been cancelled by ABC but Tim Allen and Last Man Standing will be back for a fifth season.
On Last Man Standing, Mike Baxter (Allen), marketing director of the Outdoor Man sporting goods stores, continues to stand his ground in a household of women. The rest of the cast includes Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders, Flynn Morrison, Hector Elizondo, Kaitlyn Dever, Molly Ephraim, and Nancy Travis.
The fourth season of Last Man Standing ended up averaging a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.85 million total viewers. Year-to-year, that’s down about 5% in the demo but up by 9% in viewers.
According to Deadline, the renewal deal took some extra negotiating. The fifth season of the sitcom will likely help 20th Century Fox TV sell the series into syndication.
What do you think? Do you enjoy the Last Man Standing sitcom? How much longer should it run?
Like last man standing hopefully this one stays on and fuller house and the mysteries of laura
My husband and I enjoy watching this show. I really enjoy watching when Patricia Richardson (and TV son) make a guest appearance. When she is on the show it brings a smile to my face and I love watching the interaction between her and Tim Allen.(so funny). I hope she continues to be on the show as a neighbor and friend for some of the episodes. I watch reruns of this show on Hallmark channel and find the show very entertaining and fun to watch. I hope the show gets renewed as well as continued guest appearance of Patricia Richardson.
love the show, Hope it never goes away
Love this show. Hope the politically correct wont succeed in having it removed from the lineup.
Best Show on TV. Hope that the polically correct dont succeed in getting it taken off the air. I ove the show!
I love this series. It is one of the best.
I love this show! It’s about time that Prime Time TV offer a different “political perspective”! An actual “gun counter” is shown with shotguns and such as though the viewer is at Cabelas or Bass Pro…And Tim Allen is still one of the “clean” family comedians whereby this show, as was the case with his previous classic “Home Improvement, is Super for all family members. PLEASE renew this show for several more seasons to be sure!
My family and I love the show. It’s a very down to earth show and has very good meanings behind each show
Love Tim Allen, have watched all his shows. He has such a special relationship with his costars on all his shows. Please keep him on for as long as possible. Yay Tim!!!
This show is one of the last real comedies on tv. Love the sense of comraderie of the actorsthat it appeals to all ages. My daughters and grandchidren watch as family. Thanks ABC
Iam south African and I love the show my sister does as well
I am South Aan and I Love the show I watch an episode sometimes 2 or 3 times
Tim Allen has been a favorite for a long time. “Last Man Standing” is a fun, sometimes politically challenging show that is a family favorite. We can watch it with our liberal son, his conservative wife, and their two teenagers (14 and 16), without embarrassment, and without it being “too slow” for the kids. The show seems to have a conservative slant, but it fairly shows both (all) sides of the episodes’ issues, with give-and-take. Wish the politicians would watch!
Everyone who sees Last Man Standing with me all say the same thing, ‘That’s a good show.’ Please tell the writers of the show, they are fantastic. There’s not many comedy TV shows that appeal to a conservative audience & yours, I would think, is at the top of that list, which should create viewer loyalty. It’s the only TV show I look forward to & actually sit down to watch. I love the commercial / history lesson Mike Baxter gives towards the end of the show. I’m glad to see it will be returning for another season. Thank you.… Read more »
Happy is the word for being able to still see this show! Agree with Scott B–the show does have a lot to offer and it is wholesome. Alas, not in the correct demo’s for money makers to care. Yet, this show is great and very funny. I too hope more will watch and that more seasons are ahead for the show. Been missing it already–
