Tim Allen and company have had a successful Friday night run with Last Man Standing on ABC. The sitcom has more than enough episodes for syndication so, how long will it continue? Will it be cancelled this time around, or will it be renewed for a seventh season? Stay tuned.
On Last Man Standing, Mike Baxter (Tim Allen) is the marketing director of the Outdoor Man sporting goods stores. He has a wife and three daughters so it can be a little tough to stand his ground and stay in touch with his inner man. The rest of the cast includes Nancy Travis, Amanda Fuller, Molly Ephraim, Kaitlyn Dever, Christoph Sanders, Hector Elizondo, Flynn Morrison, Jordan Masterson, and Jonathan Adams.

Last year comparison: The fifth season of Last Man Standing averaged a 1.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.74 million total viewers (live + same day ratings).

We look forward to one of our favorite shows. We settle down after supper to watch Last Man Standing. An excellent family show with real life episodes. Last week it was not on and all the residents at Sycamore Glen , where my brother resides, and my husband and I were very disappointed. There are so very few shows that we older people have to watch. This is a great show – please, please, don’t cancel it. Tim Allen is a genius and the whole cast is excellent!
Love the show but I think it’s ratings dropped a bit with the ‘departure’ of Carol (the storyline with her and Chuck was a critical balance to Mike and Vanessa), and no sign of ‘Bud’ (Mike’s dad) who also gave Mike a balance against a house full of women. It was also always a mini-treat when a cast-member from ‘Home Improvement’ would pop up. That kept ME watching; plus the inside jokes about Tim Allen’s previous accomplishments (‘Never Give Up, Never Surrender’ from Galaxy Quest), the Toy Story Poster in Ed’s Home Theater – and ‘Helen Potts’ and her son… Read more »
