The Live PD franchise is gone for good. According to NextTV, Sony Pictures Television has cancelled the A&E TV show’s syndicated spin-off series Live PD Police Patrol.
The weekly series focused on the daily work of police forces throughout the United States. “Every episode highlights the daily life-and-death situations faced by Sheriff’s Departments, Highway Patrols and local Police Departments in a diverse range of jurisdictions from Connecticut to Arizona, ” via the show’s website.
Sony Pictures Television cancelled Live PD Police Patrol after A&E ended Live PD in the wake of international protests against police brutality. Live PD Police Patrol is being pulled off the air this week.

Put the shows back on. Not all police are bad and I have law enforcement in my family. People need to see what goes on.
I think it’s utterly ridiculous if anything this is a good way of monitoring what the police do everyday!
I thought ratings were important for shows. Guess it’s not numbers, it’s who yells loudest. A&E lost this viewer. Just one quiet voice saying goodbye.
Bad move I think the show was a good way to show what the cop on the street is confronted with everyday, good show.
The whole reason they started Live PD was after a police involved shooting a few years back. The people who canceled just dont want to face the reality every race commits crimes! This was a stupid decision! Their trying to take statues down of Don Juan de Onate! Wtf does that have to do with George Floyd? I’m Live PD nation dont we have a say in this?
Why in the world would you cancel Live PD? It’s one of my favorite shows, as millions of other fans. This is the ONLY real life reality tv show besides COPS. I’m sorry but my whole family was law enforcement and FBI. It’s sad to Say but this is reality and if people don’t like reality then they don’t have to watch. I don’t think we need to cater to those who think it’s racial. If the African Americans don’t approve, then they should start making a better name for themselves.
Big mistake this is a true vision into what police and first responders have to deal with in reality. Just like everyone else there a bad cops, bad lawyers bad judges, bad doctors , simply said all types of bad people. The are far more good people in the world shows like this actually depict the majority of people have good in them! A&E & Sony you lost a fan!!!
no I think it was wrong decision. having the show allows people to see what police deal with and how they deal with situations. it’s like anything you have good and bad.
Big mistake to cancel this show!! You ruined Dog the bounty hunters career cancelling his show also .I am Mad and disappointed. I support Black lives matter. This show did nothing wrong!!
I strongly disagree with Sony’s decision to permanently cancel Live P.D. Enough of giving into the left and the so called politically correct.
Live PD was the best show on tv. No more A&E for my family. Why should a number 1 show be canceled because some people want it. The majority don’t. Some other network should pick it up.
Truly sad that these shows are being cancelled. I refuse to watch a&e any longer. Live PD showed the compassion, the professionalism police officers use to deal with in every situation. unfortunately, a &e, you just don’t want us to see the criminals because of your liberal agenda!
There is NO WAY Live P.D should have been cancelled. A&E you are COWARDS! Live P.D humanized the badge. How many times did you see the officers dancing with children and cutting up with their community. I am DONE WITH A&E, actually, the only reason I watched your channel was for Live P.D. However, thank you to ALL THE OFFICERS for putting YOUR LIVES on the line to protect US! Such a shame how 3 BULLIES are giving EVERY OFFICER IN THE WORLD A BAD NAME! I think A&E is making a big mistake! Live PD is a great show. There’s a lot of police officers who are decent people and do a good job protecting citizens. A few bad apples shouldn’t spoil the whole bunch!
