The Live PD franchise is gone for good. According to NextTV, Sony Pictures Television has cancelled the A&E TV show’s syndicated spin-off series Live PD Police Patrol.
The weekly series focused on the daily work of police forces throughout the United States. “Every episode highlights the daily life-and-death situations faced by Sheriff’s Departments, Highway Patrols and local Police Departments in a diverse range of jurisdictions from Connecticut to Arizona, ” via the show’s website.
Sony Pictures Television cancelled Live PD Police Patrol after A&E ended Live PD in the wake of international protests against police brutality. Live PD Police Patrol is being pulled off the air this week.

I want it back on. This was transparent police work. True live wasn’t racist or no abuse. It’s the best ever. It’s the only show AE had going.
I think cancelling shows such as Live PD and all the others shows included in this franchise is ridiculous. This is for entertainment but it does show the lives of the police and interactions with everyday people. Do you honestly believe cancelling these shows will change what is happening in the world today
One of the few shows i watched its a shame you let a hand full of people control you without taking consideration of the others that watched it. That’s what is wrong with our country now no one will take a stand any more. Good luck in the future.
Horrible that they would cave when there wasn’t even any pressure to cave.
There was no reason to cancel this show. This showed the good side of law enforcement, I wish they didn’t buckle under the societal pressures and kept it on the air.

Show still should go. I will probably be canceling A&as channel. Till they put back all the shows. Nothing is on now on this channel. Very disappointed.

I am extremely disappointed I love live pd always watched it on Friday and Saturday there, they should totally bring the show back

Live PD was the #1 reason I watched A & E. Lost me as a viewer. I guess I’ll have to settle for old reruns of Cops on WGN.
It was my FAVORITE SHOW. So disappointed!!!
