The Live PD franchise is gone for good. According to NextTV, Sony Pictures Television has cancelled the A&E TV show’s syndicated spin-off series Live PD Police Patrol.
The weekly series focused on the daily work of police forces throughout the United States. “Every episode highlights the daily life-and-death situations faced by Sheriff’s Departments, Highway Patrols and local Police Departments in a diverse range of jurisdictions from Connecticut to Arizona, ” via the show’s website.
Sony Pictures Television cancelled Live PD Police Patrol after A&E ended Live PD in the wake of international protests against police brutality. Live PD Police Patrol is being pulled off the air this week.

Need to bring back Live PD. Anyone with a brain knows that the vast majority of police officers are decent human beings doing a job that many of us could not do. To hold all of them responsible for the cowardly actions of a few is ignorant and unfair.
I think they need to put it back on the air! It was a show that shows how had the job of being a police officer is. It helped to improve the relationship between politics and the community. It helps to find lost or missing children or people who were wanted. I think they were cowardly to take it off. Live Pd nation are a strong group who all believe it was a show that was positive. Shame on everyone who decided to remove it from the air. It was number one
I am a former female police officer. Disabled mostly because of a police cruiser accident. I so looked forward to LivePD. A&E, you will be left in the trash heap of failed networks, because of your cowardice.
I love the show it made my kids see what police go thru on a daily basis. By them canceling tells me they hate all cops. All jobs have bad employees do we stop dealing with them no. Police have my full support and shame on you A &E.

This is really sad that A&E would take LIVE PD off tv..People have choices and if they don’t like what they see on TV then change the channel. I LOVE LIVE PD..I am not gonna watch anything on A&E again..I feel the Station A&E should be band from TV since they want to be 1 sided. I feel if A&E takes LIVE PD off then they should take everything off that has any person white or black off tv…So let’s just cut the whole tv station off and go back to the days of the radio. I think A&E pulling LIVE PD off the air was cowardly. I’m unable to work because I have some medical issues and I watch a lot of tv, probably too much….. but I so looked forward to the weekend and the show. Since I don’t get out much plus there’s still a pandemic that’s living amongst us, and I was part of a great community on facebook. I miss that, it’s just not the same. Terrible mistake from A&E!! This was a great show but A&E caved! Cowards. Live PD showed both sides of law enforcement but let’s show riots and looting instead! Nice support of law enforcement but instead, a couple of bad cops (which there is bad people in every profession) override all the great police officers there are!
Should have Not been canceled. This show shows the real ever day people and how they are treated. Its real life not what the lies the national New Media shows . You can’t trust abc,nbc,ABC,, or cnn,msnbc. To tell the true story of the police. Buy you see the truth on live PD and all the other shows like it . Please put them back on . Thank you
