New York, NY – September 26, 2016 – HISTORY® has teamed up with Texas based restoration expert,Brent Hull, and his company Hull Historical in a new eight episode series “Lone Star Restoration,” premiering Monday, October 3 at 10PM ET/PT on HISTORY.
With over 20 years’ experience, Hull has become one of the most respected and sought after historical builders in the country. Together with his team, Brent combines the best of today’s technology with time tested and traditional craftsmanship to bring his projects to life. The series will follow Brent and his team as they make it their mission to save America’s architectural history one job at a time.
“Brent not only brings his incredible acumen and expertise to ‘Lone Star Restoration,’ but he reminds us of how culturally significant it is to both preserve and restore these historical structures,” said Paul Cabana, Executive Vice President and Head of Programming, HISTORY. “Brent will share his passion and knowledge with our viewers and show all that can be learned about our nation’s history from these important landmarks.”
Brent, accompanied by his loyal Yellow Labrador Retriever Romeo, will undertake a variety of projects throughout the series. Historic preservation is not only Brent’s profession, but his passion as well as he finds joy in seeking out new, exciting projects and challenges. With the help and support of a team that is just as passionate about historical preservation as he is, Brent is able to prove that history is part of every project from the iron nails to the floor boards, the windows and walls as well as what we can do to reestablish this nation’s architectural footprint while celebrating America’s building history.

What do you think? Do you plan to watch the Lone Star Restorations TV series premiere on History? If you check it out, come on back, y’all, and tell us should it be cancelled or renewed?
Love this show! Bring it back please!
Could You Please Tell Me whether
“Lone Star Restoration” is going to be renewed for a Second Season?
If “Lone Star Restoration” is going to be Renewed, what Date are You Going to Premier the Show?
Thanks
Really enjoyed the program, hope it comes back. Good to see restoring and respecting old bldgs, even safes. Bring it back.
I hope it comes back. I enjoy seeing old things brought back to life, and seeing how it’s done. Considering all of the garbage (frankly) that’s on tv these days it would be a shame for it to be cancelled.
Finally! A show where they care about the house rather than stripping out design elements and replacing them with inferior and eventually outdated ones. Please, keep this show going as long as Pawn Stars has been on.
Am addicted to this show. Please renew.
My husband and I just recently discovered this show and are crazy about it! Brent Hull seems to genuinely care about preserving America’s past; not just “flipping” properties for a quick profit. This is such a refreshing from so many of the real-estate/ home and garden shows that are currently on TV. My hubby especially loves that the emphasis is on architectural preservation and reconstruction instead of decorating, and I concur! Please keep this show on the air. We are hungry for new episodes!
Please continue this show. It is very fascinating.
Please keep showing this show!!! I love it! This guy is great and it’s fascinating!
LOVE THIS SHOW I gre up in a historic home and absolutely love seeing this show. Please keep it coming. I need to see the completed house 😉
Love, love, love this show. Such a well-needed change of pace from all the “flip”, “fixer upper”, etc. shows that have become so boring. Brent is wonderfully entertaining with his historical knowledge and especially his humor. Romeo is definitely a plus, too. Please keep it coming again and again.
Just discovered the show this season and I really like. Knowledgeable people with kindness and humor. Keep it going.
I LOVE this show. Brent is an honorable man, has great camera presence, and can make the audience (me) care about the projects he works on. Looking forward to his projects each week. This show is set to my favorites. Please renew as this kind of show is unique, interesting, and worth the hour to show it. And, ROMEO ROCKS!
I love this show. I love restoring what once was beautiful and made to last. Brent makes a great host and Romeo makes a great co-host. Keep this show on.
I watched this tonight on History in between Pickers, my fav. I liked the show. Brent seems to be a no ego guy and he has a great sense of humor and watching that column go up on that house was amazing. Who could not love a show with a sweet dog by the name of Romeo! I think the show is a keeper!
