TV show description:
Set in Big Sky country, this thriller TV show is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson.
Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) is the charismatic, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Recently widowed, Longmire is a man who buries his pain behind a brave face and dry wit. He’s known for his manners, strength, and old-fashioned approach. His dedication to the law and his passion for the great West make him a desirable lawman.
Victoria ‘Vic’ Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) is the newest addition to the sheriff’s office. Leaving the homicide division in Philadelphia after five years, Vic is still adjusting to dealing with the locals in her new town. Her playful relationship with Longmire holds a deeper connection that allows her to be his most trusted deputy. Vic is out to prove she isn’t a rookie and to show she is capable and loyal.
Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) is Walt’s lifelong best friend and a local bar owner. Henry is a handsome and charming Cheyenne who is fiercely protective of his tribe and serves as Walt’s go-between with the reservation. Being a business owner, he is comfortable with progress and modernity while maintaining a connection with his past, unlike his close friend.
Deputy Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) is a go-getter with blind confidence. He has political aspirations that often motivate him more than solving cases. His resentment toward Walt’s outdated approach further inspire him to run for sheriff, especially after feeling that he is picking up his boss’s slack. He wants to bring Absaroka County into the 21st century, and he longs to update the sheriff’s station with the technology that other law enforcement agencies use.
Another deputy, The Ferg (Adam Bartley), is a big guy with the heart of a puppy dog. He is loyal, sweet, well-meaning and eager to please. A gifted fly-fisherman who knows how to hunt and fix things, The Ferg has a long way to go as an investigator. Even though he may not be a perfect fit for the job, he is no coward.
Cady Longmire (Cassidy Freeman) is Walt’s only child and an attorney with dreams of the big city. After the death of her mother, Cady has taken it upon herself to help her father get his life back together. She is keenly aware of his imperfections and is the only one not afraid to point them out. Her straight talk and sense of humor connect this father-daughter duo even though they both tend to drive the other crazy.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Longmire TV series? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
I like the show very much and hope that it gets renewed, so whoever is in charge please keep it T.V. I look forward to it every week. thanks, Don
This is one show I look forward to each week, and can watch each episode more than once. I have read all the books, and Robert Taylor IS Walt Longmire . Each week has gotten better, leaving viewers wanting more. ( Last season did also, but it’s more intense this season). I do hope this show, Longmire will be renewed. My husband and I look forward to watching it every week. He doesn’t watch much fiction, but made a statement after this past show, that this is a good show. High praise. PLEASE RENEW!
Very good show and all it’s cast are great. Written and directed in a way that’s real and continues to draw you into the show. Hope it will be renewed. Keep up the great job and keep those shows coming!

Please, please renew this program for 2014. Longmire is one of the most intelligent series on TV and has an extremely avid fan base. The cast is superb, stories leave you wanting more and raise questions that may or may not be answered in the next episode but you definitely don’t want to miss one in case they are. Longmire is the John Wayne of the 21st century, strong, thoughtful, caring, judicious and highly intelligent. There is not one actor that doesn’t hold his/her weight. They are all marvelous. Please keep this on!!!!!
Longmire is perhaps the best show on TV at the moment. Realistic actors and excellent plot make it interesting week after week. Keep up the good work.
Great show, can not wait for each episode ! I have read all of Craig Johnson’s books (twice).
Only wish that the show ran year around. By far the best show on A&E.
Time for the A & E execs and the Producers to place the show and it’s principals into contention for the Emmy Awards, to show the general viewing audience what good production and writing values that LONGMIRE has.
Best show on TV in years!! Robert Taylor and Lou Diamond Phillips are terrific together. Their inter action with each other is big screen worthy. Thank you for bringing such a quality show to TV.
Please, Please, Please don’t cancel this show. This is the best cop show on TV in my opinion. My wife and I can;t wait til it comes on. I wish it was like old timess when the good shows came on everyday…………..
Awesome show! Characters with depth and a great story line. Tremendously interesting characters and good actors. A definite classic. Great shows don’t last though with out of touch execs.
Longmire is one of those really great programs that has a loyal fan base, even though the ratings may not show it. Every character is perfect and necessary to the show’s success. This will probably be one of the programs that will be cancelled like Southland, The Terriers etc because we don’t fit the ridiculous demographics that determine the life of a show on TV. Once in a while, something great comes along, such as Longmire, that will be ignored by the big Kahunas that could care less about the viewers, and more about the ratings. Believe it or not,… Read more »
