5/14/18 update: Netflix has renewed Lost in Space for a second season. Details here.
I loved the first season of Lost In Space [2018]. It is very interesting and hope it continues go a long way. Please continue to keep this fantastic series going on forever, without end. Keep up the great work.
I LOVED this new series! Please renew! I watched all 10 episodes in 2 days (I do have a regular job.lol) I remember as a child loving the original series, but this new take on the show has got me hooked once again.
We as a family have enjoyed this series immensely. We don’t have to worry about sex, excessive rudeness, innuendo . When is Season 2 coming?
I am a Star Trek fan and found this show much more enjoyable than Star Trek Discovery
Loved the show, #ReNewLostInSpace
Initially disappointed as robot was not like the old film however after that it was great great great. MORE PLEASE AS THE CLIFF HANGER LEADS TO WHERE?
I made it to episode 6 and that was about it. I skipped to episode 10 and fast forward to the end to see what happened. I did not like the fact Will killed the robot by having him walk off the cliff. I enjoyed it somewhat but thought there was always way too many thing going on in each episode. I thought the Dr. Smith character acting was horrible. I wish it was more like the Star Trek episodes where they solve an issue maybe two and then move on. I am on the fence about a season two.
I was quite surprised at how well “Lost in Space” was a joy to watch. Not totally overwhelmed with Dr Smith but never liked him in the original either. Hope to continue its quest with a second season.
I really enjoyed every episode totally brilliant please please make more seasons everyone I know thoroughly enjoyed it
I had a blast watching Lost in Space setting, scenario and characters aren’t available in any other series or film. There where a lot of moments where I was nearly crying, laughing, happy and mad. It’s really great please do another season I would like to see one before I die.
The Dr. Smith character is awful and the silly personality issues between the Robinson’s annoying to say the least. With a better script the series might have some promise.
A very enjoyable Series One. I truly hope there are continuous Seasons. There were a lot of edge of the seat action and thrills, not evident in other programs. I was a fan of the original Lost In Space but other than the characters this viewing by far exceeds.
If you’re a fan of the original, you’ll soon be a fan of this one. Smartly written and directed, the episodes, some brilliant cliffhangers, strike just the right note between “that’s impossible” and the can do spirit of the marooned group. Highlighting how resilient and smart kids can be, and how far you can push them is refreshing. Personally I Love the parents not being the gooey happy couple. They are two very strong personalies pushing against each other, they have problems with their marriage and how to agree on parenting and they aren’t going to fix them in one… Read more »
Just finished. This series hits all the right notes – it has a nice mix of adventure, comingof age, science fiction and heartwarming family moments. Moreover this series is actually fun and inspirational for your tiny budding engineers and scientists. I can’t think of the last scifi series in recent years that showed a wholesome (though not perfect) family with kids that are actually likeable and not spoiled brats. Maureen and John are potrayed as adults getting through their troubles but in a way that doesn’t fall into the trap of ‘idiot dad’ getting schooled by ‘uber mom’. In fact… Read more »
This one’s a winner. Totally binge-worthy, with a balance of adventure & excellent human drama from a strong cast. Parker Posey is the standout she always is, and it’s a delight to see her paint this new picture of Dr. Smith. There’s a hint of tongue-in-cheek homage here and there to the original series, but it’s subtle enough that doesn’t distract. The setup for another season is perfect — I hope we get another, and another…
