FOX is going to Hell … again. Today, the network announced they’ve renewed Lucifer for a second season, Variety reports.
The drama stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, the fallen angel who has left his post in Hell to run a Los Angeles nightclub. Lauren German, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, D. B. Woodside, and Scarlett Estevez also star.
Lucifer premiered to favorable ratings, earning a 2.43 in the 18-49 demo and 7.156 million viewers with its January debut. And while ratings have dropped off significantly since then, with an average of 1.55 in the 18-49 demo and around 4.820 million viewers, the series is still one of FOX’s stronger performers.

We knew we had something special with ‘Lucifer,’ from the engaging performances of Tom, Lauren and the rest of the charismatic cast, to Len Wiseman’s visually stunning look of the show and the amazing storytelling savvy of the Bruckheimer team.”
Today, FOX also renewed Rosewood for a second season.

I make sure I am home every Monday to watch the show. I love Tom Ellis as Lucifer. Maze should have more screen time. I love the show with all the characters including the doctor.

I love this show. I love the writing, the cast, the humor, and the devil’s conflicted therapy search for answers. I love the twist that I am rooting for Lucifer!!! Sad I have to wait for more shows!
We enjoy watching the show….we are waiting to see why Cloe is immune to Lucifers approaches to,her…..can’t wait for,next year to find out who ” Mom” is that escaped!!! The whole cast seems to click so well together!!
