Lucifer fans may be in luck. According to Deadline, Netflix is considering a possible sixth season for the TV show.
The comedy-drama series centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) crack cases. The cast also includes DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez.
Last year, Netflix announced Lucifer would return for a fifth and final season in 2020. However, it now seems season five may not be the end after all. According to Deadline, the streaming service is in talks with Lucifer EPs Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson for a sixth season. Nothing official has been announced yet, but Deadline says sources are “optimistic” for another season.

YES! YES! YES! The best show on TV. I have re-watched the series to catch the every word on this series. Fantastic cast, storylines and dialogue. I have withdrawals every time I get to the last episode and start over again. Tom Ellis is amazing and the chemistry with Lauren German should be bottled! Please let this happen- I want 10 seasons minimum!

I most definitely watch Lucifer – all the time! This is the BEST series Netflix has ever had. Ending it after season 5 would be a HUGE mistake! This show deserves a season 6,7,8….
