Lucifer fans may be in luck. According to Deadline, Netflix is considering a possible sixth season for the TV show.
The comedy-drama series centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) crack cases. The cast also includes DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez.
Last year, Netflix announced Lucifer would return for a fifth and final season in 2020. However, it now seems season five may not be the end after all. According to Deadline, the streaming service is in talks with Lucifer EPs Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson for a sixth season. Nothing official has been announced yet, but Deadline says sources are “optimistic” for another season.

Love love love this show. Lucifer is hilarious. One of my favorites. I love it so much I keep watching the previous seasons over and over again. My hearts desire is to keep more seasons coming.

Yes! This series deserves more seasons/episodes! It has so much potential and it’s hilarious but deep. What if we’re able to see the characters visit heaven or hell? There are so many ideas that come to mind with how a season six could play!
