Lucifer fans may be in luck. According to Deadline, Netflix is considering a possible sixth season for the TV show.
The comedy-drama series centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) crack cases. The cast also includes DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez.
Last year, Netflix announced Lucifer would return for a fifth and final season in 2020. However, it now seems season five may not be the end after all. According to Deadline, the streaming service is in talks with Lucifer EPs Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson for a sixth season. Nothing official has been announced yet, but Deadline says sources are “optimistic” for another season.

I’ve seen every episode twice. Yes the whole series twice! With so much content out there watching a series more than once is impressive. For me at least. The story and dynamics are spellbinding. The relationships are complex subtle and intensely connected. I really enjoy watching this. I hope there is a 6th 7th and 8th season.
