Lucifer fans may be in luck. According to Deadline, Netflix is considering a possible sixth season for the TV show.
The comedy-drama series centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) crack cases. The cast also includes DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez.
Last year, Netflix announced Lucifer would return for a fifth and final season in 2020. However, it now seems season five may not be the end after all. According to Deadline, the streaming service is in talks with Lucifer EPs Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson for a sixth season. Nothing official has been announced yet, but Deadline says sources are “optimistic” for another season.

I want not only season 5 and a 6th season I would like 5 to 10 more seasons… love the show Lucifer and the whole cast is awsome. It also opens up the mind to who he is and in reality of what you might think of him in the bible.

Yes, please keep it going. The actors have tremendous chemistry and Tom Ellis plays the role of Lucifer perfectly. I am enjoying the premise of the misunderstood Arch Angel with daddy issues. A very relatable character. The idology of a being we humans have blamed for their own mistakes, since the dawn of time, rather than taking responsibility themselves. A character who is strong, fun, sexy, cheeky, immortal while still being vulnerable and still will not take any crap. The interactions with other characters is amazing too.

Netflix needs to get on the ball and bring this series back for a 6th and 7th and even more years to come! Devil only knows how great this series really is. It has action, a fine Corvette, and the cast is perfect. Bring it on, Netflix – you won’t be sorry. It’s what I REALLY want! 🙂
