The little team certainly isn’t as flashy (or as big of a money-maker) as The Avengers but ABC is bringing Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD back for a third season.
On Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) has been appointed Director and has been tasked with rebuilding the agency. Who can he trust? The rest of the cast includes Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, and Elizabeth Henstridge.
The series didn’t do nearly as well as expected in its first season but ABC renewed it anyway. Unfortunately, the ratings have only gotten worse in season two, averaging a 1.62 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.53 million viewers. That’s down by about 33% when compared to the first season’s numbers.
Nevertheless, ABC has decided to renew the series for a third year. Marvel’s Agent Carter will be back as well with a second season of that series.
What do you think? Do you like the Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD TV show? Any suggestions on how to improve the ratings?
I LOVE this show! Please don’t cancel.
