Is Me, Myself & I gone for good? CBS has pulled and effectively cancelled the freshman TV show from their schedule, but do you think the network acted too quickly?
The sitcom centers on Alex Riley at the age of 14 (Jack Dylan Grazer), 40 (Bobby Moynihan), and 65 (John Larroquette). The cast also includes Brian Unger, Jaleel White, Kelen Coleman, Christopher Paul Richards, Mandell Maughan, Skylar Gray, Reylynn Caster, and Sharon Lawrence.
As reported earlier, CBS has pulled Me, Myself & I from their schedule. And while the network has not officially cancelled the series, the network has essentially cancelled the low-rated comedy. Even if CBS gets around to airing the leftover episodes, they surely won’t be making any more of them.
After just six airings, season one has an average rating of 1.01 in the 18-49 demo and 4.96 million viewers — making it one of the network’s lowest-rated TV series for the 2017-2018 season. The premiere drew a 1.63 in the demo with 7.46 million viewers but the ratings sank pretty quickly and the last installment to air only attracted a 0.71 rating and 3.91 million.
What do you think? Have you seen Me, Myself & I? Do you think CBS pulled the show too soon? Should it be cancelled or given more time?
I was really enjoying his show. It has a very unique set up.
Yes. It was a cute, sweet show. It was so much better that The Good Place, and anymore, The Goldbergs.
PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL “Me, Myself & I”! It is one of the more refreshing new shows on TV. It is unique, well-written, well-acted, amusing, etc. I love that Alex’s relationship with his step-brother and step-father are positive. It is so nice to see that instead of the typical tv series that shows the step parent/siblings being mean. My co-workers and I all watch this show and love it. Who wants to watch another stupid, average comedy when you can watch something interesting and different. Give it time, people haven’t had a chance to catch on to it yet. Why… Read more »
Based on the declining ratings, there didn’t seem to be enough interest in the show. Seems like a good decision.
Despite the fact that I like the show, I would agree with you if it was given a chance at post-“Big Bang” exposure. Plus, it saw a change of lead-in just as its ratings were starting to stabilize.
Agreed. This show was NEVER given a fair shot. It was aired in the wasteland and not supported.
Love this show!! It’s one we can relate to. Always liked John Larroquette. Please keep show in lineup
This is really a great show. I like the way it tends to carry one theme through three different generations to show how something in our childhood sticks with us through all our years.
Do not cancel Me, myself and I. It is a very refreshing show, fun and good for the soul. Love it. Please keep it on!
Do not cancel Me, myself and I. It is a very refreshing show, full and good for the soul. Love it. Please keep it on!
Show wasn’t given a chance to flourish, hopefully they will air the remaining episodes.
Do not cancel. It is a great show.
Man with a plan should be cancelled. That show stinks.
Kevin Can Wait should b cancelled before this.
Pulling this show was the wrong choice.
What a fresh idea. It’s a thinking person’s show, the drones don’t yet comprehend the concept. Give it time to catch on.
This show had a unique plot line. Were the ratings that low for such a quick decision? Another network would not have made such a rash decision….
I think they need to give it a better chance. Put some more ads about it on.
I only tuned in to it because or the ads. I actually like the show. Neat concept.
I really like the boy and the old man version.
Put it back and give it a chance.
that sucks. Yes I think they have pulled it too soon. We haven’t even had a chance to get to know these characters yet.
