Is Me, Myself & I gone for good? CBS has pulled and effectively cancelled the freshman TV show from their schedule, but do you think the network acted too quickly?
The sitcom centers on Alex Riley at the age of 14 (Jack Dylan Grazer), 40 (Bobby Moynihan), and 65 (John Larroquette). The cast also includes Brian Unger, Jaleel White, Kelen Coleman, Christopher Paul Richards, Mandell Maughan, Skylar Gray, Reylynn Caster, and Sharon Lawrence.
As reported earlier, CBS has pulled Me, Myself & I from their schedule. And while the network has not officially cancelled the series, the network has essentially cancelled the low-rated comedy. Even if CBS gets around to airing the leftover episodes, they surely won’t be making any more of them.
After just six airings, season one has an average rating of 1.01 in the 18-49 demo and 4.96 million viewers — making it one of the network’s lowest-rated TV series for the 2017-2018 season. The premiere drew a 1.63 in the demo with 7.46 million viewers but the ratings sank pretty quickly and the last installment to air only attracted a 0.71 rating and 3.91 million.
What do you think? Have you seen Me, Myself & I? Do you think CBS pulled the show too soon? Should it be cancelled or given more time?
I love Me, Myself and I. It is different, funny, clean and I love the actors and characters. I think it is a shame for CBS to cancel this show. At least give it a chance. My husband and I are upset that this good show is canceled. Shame on the wonderful powers that be, at CBS. I don’t know who makes these decisions, but they should be canceled. If this show had guns, mass murders, and bad language and bleeping, it would be on forever.
This was my favorite new show this season. Loved the relationships, especially between Alex and his daughter. And loved the way Alex’s step brother thought it was his duty to protect his “little bro” who was 1 month younger than him.
I think it was a little of “This is Us” w/the flashbacks but w/comedy, I really liked it.
Exactly my feeling about it too, and I really love This is Us so very much too!
I don’t know if I will ever watch another new show again. At least until it hits the 5th season anyway. If you had yanked MASH when it’s ratings were a little low back in the beginning of the series we would never have had the greatest show of all time. Just give the damn show a chance to see what it will do.
I really liked this show, but that’s the networks for ya, they can’t ever give a show a chance.. That’s y it’s hard to invest in new shows, they yank them as soon as you get into them..
this show should never have aired in the first place
Cancelled too soon!! This sweet yet unique show was true family viewing.
What does not see in the numbers is that CBS was attracting non-tv viewers age 8-15 – ones that stream & watch YouTube and they had gotten their parents to watch with them!
This show is much needed in today’s world. Everyone should watch the episodes on The CBS website and sign the petition!

I loved this show. I thought it was the best one on this season. I guess because it didn’t have sex, violence or vulgarity in it, it wasn’t good watching material. I say bring it back. It’s good family fun. Too many shows have violence or sex in them. I say bring back the good ole values of what TV used to be, meant for families.
Yes it was pulled too soon. We never get a chance to get into a show before they start yanking them. This is a cute and smartly written show.
As far as I’m concerned, this show was pulled too late.
All shows with any thoughts are cancelled
OR with time travel as most viewers cannot follow it
Yes lets spoon feed the viewer like everybody loves Raymond……
My family loves this show. It is funny and well written. CBS, please don’t give up on this show too soon. Bring it back for another chance.
We were enjoying watching the show. Quality story lines and acting. A clean family show that was interesting to see the electronic differences during the years.
BTW… Anyone who agrees this should’t be cancelled should write to CBS. No use just shouting into the vacuum of cyberspace.

Someone at CBS, listen to reason: PLEASE BRING ME, MYSELF, & I BACK!!! I’m baffled as to why this got yanked, in favor of returning the flat and formulaic MAN WITH A PLAN, or especially, giving more time to the insanely grating and unsatisfying 9JKL. MMI really seemed to be fining its legs, and I love that I was able to talk about it with my parents and my kids. No, I didn’t fall off my couch laughing…but it was touching, thought-provoking, sweet, and a lovely way to spend ½ an hour on a Monday night with a smile on… Read more »
