CBS cancelled three sitcoms after the 2016-2017 television season, so the Tiffany Network could really do with some more laughs. Will its new Me, Myself & I TV show crash or soar? Cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
A single-camera comedy, Me, Myself & I stars Bobby Moynihan, Jack Dylan Grazer, Brian Unger, Jaleel White, Kelen Coleman, Christopher Paul Richards, Mandell Maughan, Skylar Gray, Reylynn Caster, Sharon Lawrence, and John Larroquette. The CBS sitcom focuses on the defining moments in the life of Alex Riley. In 1991, Alex (Grazer) is a 14-year-old transplant from Chicago to L.A. In 1991, at age 40, his wife has left him, and Alex (Moynihan) wants to maintain his relationship with his daughter. By 2042, in the wake of a mild heart attack, 65-year-old Alex (Larroquette) is ready to retire and start anew.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
7/22 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Me, Myself & I TV series? Should it be cancelled or renewed for second season on CBS?
11/1/17 update: CBS has pulled this low-rated sitcom after six episodes, essentially cancelling. Details here.
Loved this show, it was amazing ;D . How they bought up three different parts together good . It also had my favorite hollywood actor, Jack Dylan Grazer! I really really want season 2, please give it a chance CBS .
This show is very well done, ties one theme to the three different points in time. Very clever.
Why did they cancel Me myself and I? I thought it was great and looked forward to watching it every week. Maybe they needed to do more advertising and give the show more time. I am disappointed they have pulled the show. Another reminder of why you shouldn’t get into a show until it has been on tv for a while or wait till Netflix.
This wasn’t studio owned . Do some research. Warner owned Me Myself and I.
This show has been one of our family’s best sitcoms! We love how the 3 Alex’ timelines are brought together in each show. A very refreshing and fun loving show!!
My husband and I love this show! We watch a lot of TV but Me, Myself and I waa our favorite new one this year! So refreshingly different! Please give it a chance!
This show is funny, sweet and beautifully cast. Please give it a chance CBS. This is a genuinely clever idea.
This show is so clever and well done. It so easily could have stereotyped the step-father/step-brother characters but instead did totally the opposite. This is funny and feel good. Give this show a chance!
Easily one of the best shows this season. Refreshingly charming and original and a consistently enjoyable 1/2 hour that the whole family can watch. Bummed out that more people are watching because they’d be pleasantly surprised if they did. Hope CBS appreciates it and keeps it on the air for the whole season if not a few years.
I really love this show. I watch it with my 16-year-old son. I love the relationship Alex has with his stepdad and stepbrother.
I love the show. The three story lines are beautiful brought together. Please give it a chance for season 2. It has a charm not often seen on television.
It’s a great feel good show. Love it.
I really like the show…. watched three in a row!
I enjoy the show. It is one I can recommend for a family to watch. I love the interaction of the family; it’s nice to see a family who can get along and support one another.
I like it a lot. Not much I like on t.v. these days but this one is an enjoyable watch. I hope it sticks around.
one episode was WAY MOE than enough for me
