What’s This TV Show About?
A mockumentary-style sitcom airing on the ABC television network, Modern Family follows three Los Angeles families who are interrelated through Jay Pritchett (Ed O’Neill) and his two adult children, Claire and Mitchell (Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson). Sofía Vergara, Ty Burrell, Eric Stonestreet, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould, Rico Rodriguez, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, Jeremy Maguire, and Brigitte the French bulldog also star.
Season Eight Ratings
Currently, the eighth season of Modern Family is averaging a 2.10 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.88 million viewers. Compared to season seven, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. Learn how Modern Family stacks up against the other ABC TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Even after all these years, Modern Family continues to mock my famishment. Well into its eighth season, it remains one of ABC’s best performers in terms of both its demo ratings and audience size. When considering a show this successful, the cancellation or renewal question largely comes down to money and will. In early January, ABC boss Channing Dungey said the network was “enthusiastic,” despite complex negotiations. If the creative team and the cast want to continue, and can come to terms, ABC will renew Modern Family for a ninth season.

Cancelled. It’s way past its prime. Terrible story lines. It seems like the writers are just trying to fill 22 minutes and then go on to the next show. Like The Middle. Same story lines, different characters.
no its not, i for one find it always consistently funny and creative..if u dont like it anymore thats cool but dont ruin for others who still do
