“Life is supposed to be messy.” This week, AT&T Audience Network released the first trailer for their upcoming TV show Mr. Mercedes.
Based on the novel by Stephen King, the drama “follows a demented killer (Harry Treadaway) who taunts a retired police detective (Brendan Gleeson) with a series of lurid letters and emails, forcing the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he is able to strike again.” The cast also includes Holland Taylor, Kelly Lynch, and Jharrel Jerome.
Mr. Mercedes premieres on AT&T Audience Network on August 9th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

What do you think? Have you read Mr. Mercedes? Will you watch the AT&T Audience Network series?
I love the AT&T show Mr. Mercedes. It’s clever, bold , futuristic and entertaining. However, why is it that a brilliant show digresses into toilet room comments. It is revolting to hear one phrase, Oh my f……God by what I presumed to be intelligent and having a large vocabulary actors.. Surely the author, director and producer would not have the guts to say such derogatory verbalizations about the Muslim prophet. AT&T, why do you approve of such ignorant use of insulting language which adds nothing to the enjoyment and understanding in an otherwise fine show?
Absolutely LOVED the trilogy. VERY UPSET THAT I CAN NOT SEE THIS SHOW. NOT ALL CONSUMERS HAVE DIRECT TV. WHAT ARE THOSE OF US TO DO WHO SSSSOOOOOO WANT TO SEE THIS AND CAN’T. IT’S NOT RIGHT THAT COMPANIES DO THIS AS IT WAS ALSO DONE WITH STEPHEN KINGS 11/22/63. Things like these should be made available to ALL consumers, not just a choice few. After viewing the trailer I am an even more disgruntled Stephen King Fan.
