NOTE: You can see the ratings for NBC’s 2014-15 season here.
There’s lots of data that NBC looks at when deciding whether to renew or cancel a TV series but the ratings are typically the biggest piece.
Check other networks’ rankings:
ABC | CBS | The CW | FOX | ABC Family | TNT

A couple of notes about these charts:
These figures are updated automatically as new ratings are released. The averages are based on the final national numbers (live plus same day viewing), unless marked with an asterisk (*). For technical reasons, I have to resort them manually so feel free to let me know if I missed something.
Keep in mind that the demo numbers are typically what’s most important to advertisers. Therefore, that’s how the networks measure success. Advertisers pay more for ad time on a show that has a higher demo rating. Because older viewers don’t count? No, it’s because younger viewers watch less traditional TV and are harder to reach.
Demo numbers are typically reported using the 10ths decimal place (2.4, for example). In the averages, I’m using an extra decimal for easier ranking.
The networks take into account when shows air on Fridays and Saturdays, nights when TV viewership is lower.
What do you think? Which shows are you rooting for? Which one isn’t as big a hit as you thought? Are you hoping any series will get cancelled to make way for something else?
Please renew Dracula!
please renew dracula/ johnathon rhys meyers great movie.
I can t believe they haven t renewed Dracula yet. It is such a wonderful production. It deserves another season. And it is such a lack of respect to us that the series ends without an end. I feel truly disrespected when a good show, that has a loyal audience, is canceled. I have been following The Borgias and The White Queen and both were cancelled. I think we dserve, at the very least, an ending to the series we watch.
Please renew Dracula! My husband and I love the show. It’s nice to have a vampire show that isn’t filled with teenage angst. We loved Moonlight and that got canceled before it’s time. So what it’s ratings aren’t super high. Part of the problem is you started it out on the dreaded Friday night spot. Trying giving it a prime spot like Mon or Wednesday and you might just see the ratings spike. Just me sure to put the first season on Hulu or Netflix so people can catch up.
Please renew DRACULA!!! Most SPECTACULAR SHOW ON NBC!! Equals or actually is better than The Blacklist!! The sets, production, performances are stellar!! AND JONATHAN RHYS MEYERS IS A BLOCKBUSTER!!
Keep Dracula. Excellent, it keeps me coming back! When is the next episode?????
Please dont cancel Revolution…we have seven avid viewers in our house. We would be so disappointed..seems like everything we like gets cancelled after a season of two.
DRACULA – Just renew it for a 2 second season NBC! This show has become an amazing 10 episode season. It is so refreshing to see a show that has a well chosen cast. A show that gives us a Dracula story that is updated, and scripted storylines that appeal to an adult viewership. I used to think Grimm was top notch, but I have grown tired of the predictable story plots, and the few seconds of a human flexing their neck to become inhumane for only a few minutes or less. Plus the Grimm cast has grown and now… Read more »
emina my thoughts {and millions of others} exactly. grimm is getting very boring, i just watch it until Dracula comes on. I don’t want to miss a second of it. Especially now that he and Mina have gotten {together!} Plus what happened to renfield expertly played by nonso, What cowardly thing is Van Helsing going to do now that HE has gotten what he wants, and the same with Harker. A second season is definitely in order. NBC read the comments everyone posts daily, or hourly! People are taking time from their busy schedules to post them. Do you think… Read more »

OK – So Dracula is JUST getting started! This is only the beginning – The story has us on the edge of our seats now—so it has to go a second season! There are so many unanswered questions. And Van Helsing is just beginning to rise!!
