NCIS: New Orleans has been cancelled by CBS after seven seasons, and star Scott Bakula recently spoke about finishing the series and leaving New Orleans behind.
The cast and crew were not expecting CBS to cancel the show and were informed in February, as they were filming episode 13. “It was painful,” said executive producer Jan Nash, “but it was a blessing to have enough time to make adjustments and a finale that feels very true to New Orleans.”
Bakula said the following about the finale of NCIS: New Orleans and filming it during the pandemic, per TV Insider:
“The last episode of a seven-year series has all kinds of light shining on it. People gave speeches, bumped elbows. They had their masks on. It was bittersweet: We shot 16 episodes and are proud of the season, but it was goodbye — and from a distance.”
Vanessa Ferlito, Necar Zadegan, Charles Michael Davis, Rob Kerkovich, Daryl “Chill” Mitchell, and CCH Pounder also star in this CBS procedural drama. The series finale is set to air on May 23rd.

Absolutely gutted this show has been cancelled. Loved it all, great acting and just loved the accents. Was one of my favourites. Such a lot of rubbish shows out there and they cancel this, beggars belief.
N.O.L.A should not be cancelled. One of the best. Stop the cancellation!

I so loved this show. It was much better than the other ones. I binged watched this. Couldnt wait to get home and see New Orleans. I was literally in tears. I don’t know why this show was canceled, there are a lot of other shows that should’ve been canceled before this one.

Just as Charles Davis and Necar Zadegan became an item CBS pulls the plug. To cancel a great show is despicable.
I spent some great memories in the big easy and can relate to city of love,I can’t believe it’s been cancelled ,there are shows show out there that should be cancelled but NCIS nola shouldn’t be one of them they have the best cast great and relatable story lines it’s just very sad to see it go,producers may have shot themselves in the foot by cancelling the best show on CBS and may make it tough to want involved emotionally with another program that might get cancelled as well,just saying

I’ve watched this show since the first episode and I missed the friendship between Christopher and Sonya. There are always reruns. I hope to see the cast in other shows.
I don’t understand why NCIS New Orleans was cancelled, I’m so upset and sad it’s ending, a really dumb decision, there are so many others shows that should be. I love the cast, they’re all great and Scott Bacula, I’ve been a big fan of his for years. Wishing you all the Best in future endeavors.
