On Outlander, Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), a married combat nurse from 1945, finds herself mysteriously thrown back in time to 1743 Scotland. She’s forced to marry another man (Sam Heughan) to save her life and a passionate affair is ignited. The rest of the cast includes Tobias Menzies, Graham McTavish, Gary Lewis, Duncan Lacroix, Stephen Walters, Grant O’Rourke, Claire Sermonne, Rosie Day, Stanley Weber, Andrew Gower, and Lionel Lingelser.

Not only that, it has garnered Starz money in the subscriptions ppl are paying for to be able to watch it when they don’t have cable or satellite! 😉 It’s a win win for everyone! <3 Outlander! Outlander should absolutely be renewed for a third season! It’s one of the best shows on TV these days and there are fans all over the world. The books of Diane Gabaldon gave it a built-in fan base. But that base has been widely extended by the TV show. Lots of folks would be disappointed if it ended at Season 2. With the highest of production values and standards for historical detail, the show is a rare treat for viewers.
