What do you think? Are you enjoying the Outlander TV show? Will you be tuning in for the series’ return?
I read another outstanding book titled Outlander. It was about a woman who killed her abusive husband and then had to run for her life from his two brothers. When I saw this on Starz, I signed up. I was surprised, but pleasantly so. I enjoyed the series so much that I purchased some of the books. I only found the first three, but I’m sure I’ll find the others. The actor who plays Jamie is not as large a man as Jamie was, but I do like him. I can’t imagine anyone else as Claire. I can hardly wait… Read more »
I am hoping that this wonderful series lasts a long time and that they will be available on DVD after each season is over. I have read all eight books and am rereading them now. Fabulous story, even my husband is reading the series. Anyone who enjoys the show but hasn’t read the books should do so. If you aren’t much of a reader, they are available at most libraries on CD and are read very well! We can’t wait to see the second half of season 1.
I have read the Outlander series except the last one, holding off on that for now, enjoyed the storyline immensely, so I am looking forward to the second TV series next April 2015, Who could not fall in love with ‘Jamie’ Sam was a perfect match, as was Catriona for Claire, although there are a few changes that are different in the series to the book, it is still very good viewing, well done to the cast for making it exciting to watch, especially the wedding scenes, I have saved all the chapters to watch over again (and again). At… Read more »
I have read the book series except the last one, holding back on that for now, I have enjoyed all the episodes in the first series, and cannot wait until the next one is on the screen, the cast and locations have been fantastic, very close to the book story, who would not fall in love with ‘Jaimie’, Sam is a perfect match, so is Catriona as Claire, they bring both characters to life. Excellent viewing.
I loved the first season of Outlander 2014! When will I be able to buy the DVD of the first season?
I loved the first season of Outlander 2014! When will I be able to buty the DVD of the first season?
Loved the books and feel they have done a good job on the Starz site of doing this great book as a tv series. Please give us an explanation as to why you are stringing it out. It is not fair, expecially since we must continue paying for Starz. I, for one, did not. I cancelled and when you start up the series in the future will again sign up. I believe that a lot of people have done this. There must be a reason why you stopped showing this series until April, I think your viewers should be given… Read more »
I have noticed that all these web sites don’t do the follow up on questions the viewers have. Like why us Stars waiting so long to finish the first season. Love the show and for sure want to see more. I read that season 2 is done as well. If Stars is stringing there viewers along. That’s kinda ******. I have also cancelled Stars. And at this point I don’t think I will sign back up again. They did the same thing with Camlot did 1 season and then nothing and it was a amazing story line and a great… Read more »
I’m sure they have a reason and strategy but Starz hasn’t shared it.
I love this show! I can’t wait for the next episodes in 2015! I have always loved history and this show combines it with adventure, romance and wonderful detail. I will now buy the series. I had no idea it existed before now. Please release it in DVD format at some point. I will buy several copies! Keep the series! Now that it has ended, I am going back to re-watch it and now I have interested my husband in it as well!
So exicited about second season. Cant wait to see. Their love blossom.
Will the tv series be put on dvd for sale?
I’m reading the books and just finished the first season! Love, love it!! I can’t wait until the next season. I love epic movies/shows like this. So much better than today’s shows and movies. Keep up the great work!
Fantastic series!! I just love the whole series and the chemistry between Jamie and Claire is off the charts. They work so great with one another on screen and they have a wonderful off screen presence with one another. I have recorded the whole 8 episodes and I just keep wathcing them over and over I love it, don’t know how I will be able to wait until Apr/15 to see what happens. To all the actors, directors etc keep up the great work !!
I love the show! I love the Shonda time slots on Thursdays! I AGREE TGIT! Can’t wait to see what is next!
I am enjoying the series immensely. I watch it and PVR it. I have watched each episode about three times. I have been reading the books for about 20 years and even though I have Diana’s new book MOBY, I haven’t started it because I want to enjoy season one without thinking too far ahead. I finished re-reading the first five books just before Episode 1 – Sassenach aired. I applaud everyone – actors, directors, producers, costume designers!!!! – and all of the behind-the-scene people for a rich, absorbing, engrossing, wonderful bringing-to-life of Diana’s book. May your success continue. I’ll… Read more »
I love the series. I am sad to say that I have never read the book, but nonetheless I have seen most episodes at least 3 times. You can tell there is a connection between Jamie and Claire. It is HOT! You have done a great job of writing and casting. Whomever says differently doesn’t know much about good TV. I watch TV a lot and have much to compare this show to and it is very captivating. Cudos to actors, producers, writers and everyone involved in providing gret entertainment. It is going to be a long wait for what… Read more »
