WGN America has renewed its Outsiders TV series for a second season. The cast of Outsiders includes: David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
Set in the Appalachians, Outsiders features the tight-knit Farrell clan. Renegades, the Farrells have lived on Shay Mountain for more than two centuries.

We had all but given up on finding a show on TV that commanded our interest. We are “Hooked” on WGN’s “Outsiders”, this show has all the components of cast and unanticipated story line that is sadly lacking in the mindless pablum that seems to dominate prime-time offerings of late. We sincerely hope for many more seasons and continued success for everyone involved with this production.
I’m glad to see that the shows coming back. It’s refreshing to see creativeness (Writing) coupled with solid performances from the most seasoned actor to the newest!
