Cartoon Brew has an interesting article regarding the hiatus and possible end of Disney’s Phineas and Ferb series.
According to the Animation Guild’s blog, the series’ artists have moved on to other projects or are looking for other work. The artists say that the show is wrapping up.
Phineas and Ferb creator Jeff “Swampy” Marsh denies that the show is over however and says that “we are taking our first hiatus since 2006 and making plans for what is to follow.”
Whether the show is finished for good or not is unknown. What isn’t being disputed is the fact that production has shut down and there’s no set date for it to resume.
Though the show is on “indefinite hiatus,” series writer and storyboard artist Aliki Theofilopoulos tweeted that “There are enough episodes and specials to fill the air for some time”.

I’ve been watching Thaddeus and Thor Spence the show cam out in 2006 I say keep it on till 10 years then maybe end it bye sending them to school and make it a really sad heart breaking ending that will leave children crying for days and make Perry die.

PLEASE DON’T END IT I’VE BEEN WATCHING SINCE 2009 AND I STILL LOVE IT. i really hope they don’t end it. it is kinda suspicious that all of the episodes played over over again.
I’ve always loved phineas and ferb and I always will. At first when Perry’s secret was discovered I thought it was over buy apparently not. It would be devastating to see it go

I have heard that the last episode will be “Act Your Age” where they are leaving High School or something and that it will be a Phinbella type of thing that will be major. I do not want it to end but if they end it that way, it wont be as bad as long as they end it on a good note. This is an inspiring show to me and they shouldn’t end it! They are inspiring kids to have big ideas and live them out! They should keep this running longer than spongebob and the simpsons!!!

Oh no. I am an admirer of Phineas & Ferb and I refuse to let the show be cancelled! If Marsh and Povermire want to make new episodes, then we should let them. After all, I really want to see this show outrun The Simpsons. The show’s an inspiration to me, and I’m incorporating the comicality into my own cartoon show which is based off my own movie trilogy.

All TV shows end. There is no getting around it. However, I don’t think it’s that time for Phineas and Ferb. Phineas and Ferb can easily go for a 5th season. Personally, I think there will be a few more episodes but I can tell it is close to the end. I just love Phineas and Ferb especially Perry! I’d say it is one of Disney’s greatest successes.
