FOX has high hopes for their new Pitch TV series but they’ve scheduled it on Thursday nights, a highly competitive night for network television. Can it win in the ratings game? Will it be cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned to find out.
The Pitch TV show follows the inspirational story of a young pitcher (Kylie Bunbury) who becomes the first woman to play Major League Baseball. Although she’s been groomed for this moment for much of her life, she’s embarking on a baseball career under the glare of the white-hot media spotlight. The rest of the cast includes Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ali Larter, Mark Consuelos, Dan Lauria, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder, and Tim Jo.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. I really enjoy watching this show. I like the message it gives to young women in a male dominated sport. I’m tired of channels mostly offering cop, lawyer, political or medical dramas. This is a breath of fresh air. I hope it stays on the air!

Pitch is an amazing show!!!!! You all BETTER make a second season!! I promise you now that the first ones gone yall will see nothing but ppl questiong (wheres the second season?) and (will ginny’s career and dreams be over?) Pitch is a great show. I watch it every week. It may need to be move or maybe promoted more due to the low ratings. However, please don’t take it off of the air. My whole family loves it!
Goodbye Pitch. You haven’t officially been cancelled yet, and your ratings are better than what Sleepy Hollow did last season. However, your first season ratings are a disaster. The Truth is right here.

I think they would be Dumb to cancel pitch. This was the best season show I’ve had in years and can make people realize dreams still do come true. I’d be very dissapionted
