What’s This TV Show About?
A darkly comedic AMC supernatural drama from creators Sam Catlin, Evan Goldberg, and Seth Rogen, Preacher stars Dominic Cooper, Joseph Gilgun, Ruth Negga, Ian Colletti, and Graham McTavish. Noah Taylor, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, Malcolm Barrett, Justin Prentice, and Ronald Guttman join in the second season. AMC teases that Preacher season two follows West Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Cooper), along with his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Negga) and Irish vampire Cassidy (Gilgun) as they take off on a road trip to find God. This thrusts them into a twisted battle spanning Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Preacher averaged a 0.40 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.17 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 36% and down by 30%, respectively. Learn how Preacher stacks up against other AMC TV shows.

I really liked season one but was disappointed in season two. The first was soooo different…it was unique. But after being cooped up in their little town and the church has burned down, God is missing, Jesse has this power, and he’s going to find Him somewhere down the road, and hold him accountable. So off to the big city of New Orleans and have more decrepit places to find God.
Will it be coming back I am a fan.
Read the comics after published around 2003 – I was fully captured with the characters and their adventures – laughin me arse off along the way! The show is not as killer as the comic books, however it has been an awesome source of entertainment – I’m pleased and satisfied. For you Jesus lovin bible thumpers you all just don’t get it, its comedy babe – they toned it waaayyy down for you to enjoy this preacher and his crusade in findin God.
