Pure has some new company. Deadline reports Alyson Hannigan has joined season two of the WGN America TV show.

The crime drama centers on a Mennonite pastor (Ryan Robbins) who goes undercover with organized crime in order to help his community. The cast also includes Alex Paxton-Beesley, Peter Outerbridge, A.J. Buckley, Gord Rand, Dylan Taylor, Rosie Perez, Jessica Clement, and Dylan Everett.

On Pure, Hannigan will be playing “Esther Dunkel, a lapsed Mennonite who is nobody’s fool and has been helping her lawyer-boyfriend funnel a fortune in cartel cash through a local bank.” WGN America has yet to announce a premiere date for season two, but production is slated to begin this summer.
