Kathryn Bigelow is returning to television. The Academy Award-winning director is developing a new series with the network called The Recruiters, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Bigelow previously worked on the TV series Homicide: Life on the Streets and the ABC mini-series Wild Palms.
From Somali Canadian writer K’naan Warsame, The Recruiters will explore the world of Jihadi recruitment in Minnesota.
Bigelow is set to executive produce alongside former HBO president Carolyn Strauss. Warsame is also slated to executive produce and direct.
